  4. well stated. As soon as they see an ABC or CBC in the classroom, they go to the manager and complain. Yet, some of these ABC and CBC have teaching degrees/license while some white face do not.

  8. Problem is Chinese teacher with Chinenglish teaching kids Chinenglish accent. And many public school do not hire western teachers.

  9. THis is what happens when the govt and parents compete for a spot in Top Middle, High and university. Nowadays, Chinese degrees are like toilet paper, have little value as there are too many of them. I didn't got to a top university and my salary is 5-8x more than that of a university student.

  10. One reason is the system. Parents push their child to finish hw bc if they don;t, the teacher calls their parents and this causes the parent to lose face. This is the problem, it is about all face.

  12. To the lady with glasses. IF ppl like her, hate english, hate foreign idelogy, YET, they consume apple products, eat MCD, drink coffee, eat pizza. Those are ALL western/English brands.

  13. Chinese teacher using Chin-glish to each Chinese. DO you see the problem? Those CHinese teacher has heavy chinese accent when teaching students. Students are amazing at imitating sounds at a young age. Think about this. A kindergartener to grade 5 was taught by all Americans/UK/Canadians, vs a Chinese-english teacher.
