  1. Education is NOT a guaratee. Those without degree but is willing to work hard, gain real working skills (not just study and get out of date knowledge), can earn more than those with masters. By working at a young age, one can earn the real work experience, real life problem solving, critical thinking. One cannot get that buy buried in books and listening to lecture. Thumbs up to those that DID not follow the trend and started working at age 16. THey are MORE valuable than freshly grad bc freshly grad cannot apply what they learned at school. What did learn soon become out of date. BUt those without, have one thing that fresh grads don't have. They have street smart, they have made connections. THose two alone is more valuable than ANY degree. It is easy to understand, too many ppl with degree. It is no longer a worthy investment. The value has decrease to just an A4 paper. Working or studying hard is no longer a guarantee. It is who you know, your connections, luck, experience, etc all counts.

  2. If society think that is what your worth, then that is what is your worth. If your cost is too expensive, one can move to a 4th tier city. Don't come to 1st tier city. If one can find a higher salary, and the company/boss is willing to pay higher, than that is what the company/boss think your worth. But if not, then, keep looking. A drama degree, did she think she will land a movie role in Hollywood?
