@tarablue4472 HOw I am not a good partner. A man is the main provider.
Yes, not everyone can earn 6 fig, no matter how hard he works. Even if he works 60-70 hours a day, he may still not earn 6 fig.
Women marry, bc she needs financial support. If she is has money, then she marry bc she needs emotional support.
So, for me, our partnership works.
Think about it. If the man can bring home enough money, why would the man want the woman to work. She manages the household finances. If the man earns 6fig and she earns less than 30k (after taxes), the man doesn't want the wife to do the 9-5, and rather use that time and energy to be a home marker.

@tarablue4472 I;ll give you another example. She works 40 a week for a yr to get about 30k. If the man works an extra 1-2 hour per day, he can get that 30k.
A loving man wouldn't want her to work, if he can provide a very comfortable life for her and him and the children.
And in China, 6fig+ USD after tax, the family can live like royalty
I bet you what, many man earning BIG money, will NOT want their wife to work, rather, take care of the household finances and household.
IF the couple works, it is because (that means the woman)
-their cost of living is high (mortgages, car loans, other debt)
-not enough savings
-others
One can decrease debt. I dont have a car (in China), i can easily afford a 100k car. But it makes NO sense bc cars have a depreciating value. So a car worth 100k on day 1, after 5 yrs, loss about 40-60% value. Me, l just ride to work, take the metro or taxi (and taxi are SUPER cheap)
