That is why, during interview, l ask: can l meet the leader of the team, before l even accept the offer being offered. If it is a man, l'll accept. If it is a women, l would like to chat with her, before accepting.
For example, in all my teaching position, there was one TC l quit (started looking for a new job after TWO months) because it was ran by CHINESE women. I was not happy how she manage the foreign teachers, thinking she and them are better than us. Without us foreign teacher, there will be no TC/business. The center only had business bc of foreigners. So, basically, we are the ones earning the money for THEM. They only had the physical building, a brand and resources. What good are these things, if there was no foreigner teachers to teach their client. I too, can get resource, build a brand and get a building (rent). So the TC has no value. The only value was us foreigners. We were the ones servicing the students. Their job was to get them in! I can do that as well.
All other jobs l had, l had finished the contract and renewed bc they were ran by foreign females or males (chinese and foreigners).
My point is: I do not want to by lead by a Chinese women leader in the dept or company!!!
