  1. Problem is that nurses and techs (I am a nurse) often don’t have the staff or the equipment (like lifts) to safely lift and transport people. We don’t have the choice to just not do it. Sometimes patients HAVE TO BE transferred from one bed or chair to another. They HAVE TO BE moved from the bathroom back to a bed. There is no choice, even if you don’t have the help or equipment to do it safely. You still have to do it. And then this happens.

  2.  @jonathanng138  Where’d you get that number? Did you look up case precedent? Did you assess damages? Everyone wants to sue without realizing that you can only sue for damages. Were the damages specifically rated at $5m? Or did you just make that up off the top of your head?
