  12.  @Brisingr-b5f  When Mussolini first created his iteration of authoritarianism called “fascism,” he publicly stated that “fascism is a leftwing ideology” which is why Lenin praised him for it. A little later the communists said fascism was “right wing” so they could differentiate their variant of authoritarianism from fascisms variant of authoritarianism even though the policies of both are extremely similar. WW2 started as a turf war between the international communists and Hitler’s National Socialists. Similar to two rival gangs like Bloods vs Crips. The label “right wing” for fascism has stuck since because the communists have always controlled the media. It was a major psyop that has been incredibly successful.

Repubs barely control the House. ALL Dems want them banned and there are at least 15 repubs that would vote to ban AR’s today. Point is, we are already SO CLOSE to that “consensus” he refers to.

If you know anything about the political scene then you should know…. 1) Politicians often talk out of both sides of their mouths and he definitely did that regarding guns with Reason. 2) RFK IS and has been by his own admission a Progressive.
