@northernlassie4958 Ron never ran against Trump.

The Truth of the Matter I didn't say Ron was a political Libertarian (upper case L). Ron Paul voted YES to invade Afghanistan but has publicly stated numerous times that in hindsight he would have voted NO. What else did he vote on that violates the NAP?
5
True, but we also need to talk about the CIA importing drugs into the US to fund their black ops.

The Truth of the Matter Ron Paul is definitely a philosophical libertarian.

@littleme3597 Ron Paul is a "flip flopper"? That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard anyone say about him. Soon after being elected to Congress the lobbyists came to bribe him and he said "NO" so they stopped. He was then nicknamed "Dr. No" on Capital Hill because he could not be bribed and always had the balls to vote NO on anything that cost money and/or would take away your rights. He often voted alone too! Ron Paul was the most principled man in Congress and maybe in the history of the US. You don't agree with Ron Paul on the wall, and I get that because I am reluctantly for a wall now too, but if these idiot politicians had listened to him decades ago the US would NOT be $21+ TRILLION in debt with $220+ TRILLION in unfunded liabilities. And there would NOT be the problem at the border because he would have ended all freebies for illegals.

@northernlassie4958 Ron is retired and is the only Congressman that did NOT accept the pension. ALL of us owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to Dr No for being the only one in office to NEVER vote for anything that would take away our liberties including a tax increase.

Ron's position on the border is the same now as it has always been. He is concerned that historically walls have been used to keep the people IN.
3
The Truth of the Matter Ben Shapiro is fairly libertarian on domestic policy but he is a full on neocon when it comes to US foreign policy. Ben could possibly be a great governor of California but a terrible president. The fact that he is for the US staying in Syria should tell you everything you need to know about him.
3
No, taxation is THEFT so we should NOT be looking at taking care of people outside the US ever.
3
@TheresaPowers Ron Paul ran in 1988, 2008 and 2012, idiot.
2
He isn't getting "soft." Agree with him or not but Ron's position now is the same as it has always been.

@northernlassie4958 Ron praises Trump when he does something right like getting out of Syria, etc. Even though I disagree with Ron Paul on the wall (I used to agree with him), I recognize now that the only way to stop a huge mob from storming the border will be a wall. Having said that, my issue with the wall is the same as Ron Pauls, and that is that walls have been used by governments to prevent the tax cattle from leaving. The US would NOT be a magnet for migrants and terrorists if the US gov did what Ron Paul has been talking about for decades. This is why we need Ron Paul out there talking because he is 100% right on the other 99.9% of his positions.

@sowelly2808 Ron Paul wasn’t big on walls then but he was all about protecting the borders from invasion and his proposed immigration policy was far stricter than anyone else’s.

@spitchill Ron knows more about MAGA, but I actually think Trump might be the best man for this time. Having said that, I wish Ron was 20 years younger so he and Rand could run in 2024.
1
@spitchill I am so cynical of politicians but I actually think Trump has done more good in two years than the last four US Murderer in Chiefs. I don't think he will cave on the wall but I totally understand your doubts. I have read Ann Coulters stuff, and yeah, she has been holding Trumps feet to the fire like no one else. Some have asked why Trump didn't fight this hard for the wall in the first two years when he had Congress, but there's no way it would have passed the Senate with rino's Flake and McCain. We shall see...
1
Ron Paul, possibly the best man to have ever run for office in the US.
1
@-S- Kint -S- I am a philosophical libertarian (small l) / anarchist / voluntaryist and agree with you. Ask me if a wall was needed just three years ago and I would have disagreed with you.
1
Even legal immigration is too high and they are pulling from the wrong countries.
1
Michael Neff True. We need a wall but Ron Paul is 100% right that we need to remove the incentives that bring people here - and that is to end ALL taxpayer freebies for immigrant - legal and illegal. And while we're at it, and Ron Paul would agree with me on this, we need to take the profit out of the illegal drug market and decriminalize ALL drugs.
