  2. I don't think it will be centuries to outgrow the delusion of religious beliefs. I lean more towards decades. Education and advances in technology and science has been quite exponential since it first became obvious as the best method in understanding all of life and the Cosmos. I don't see that trend changing at all. However what I do see is religious groups becoming increasingly desperate now that we all know that atheism is the fastest growing area in the world. I feel there may be one more religious type war, but it will be the final chapter in the horrors of these awkward outdated beliefs in nonsense. Children (and adults) now know to not blindly follow any man (mythical or not) but to find their own paths in life using modern knowledge with the best intentions of others in mind; you know the opposite of what churches and Mosques etc demand.
