"Democracy" = "People Rule" (demos kratos) But the 'People' are the 'Public', and the 'Public' is the State. So Democracy is "State Rule".

Unfortunately, Adam Tooze and many similar historians (as I have documented) are happy to present all the evidence in the world that shows that the Third Reich had totalitarian social control over the economy, but then call it 'capitalism'. It shows just how most historians have no idea about economics, yet proceed to mislead their readers by using terms they don't understand.

@brettmcclain9289 Really? I didn't realize I've had that much of an influence on people. I've assumed (based on the comments I get) that most people have dismissed everything I've said regarding economics and Austrian economics specifically.

@brettmcclain9289 That makes sense. I've always wondered why the Mises Institute doesn't get bombarded by screaming Socialists as much as I do. And I think the video I've got coming out later today about Karl Marx will definitely cause a stir in the Socialist community...! You could be right that a lot of the people agreeing with me or are reading Austrian Economics are simply not commenting, which I can understand. Still, I wish more would comment. I'd like to visit the Mises institute at some point... maybe one day
