@zippydodahquirk9039 part of me thinks the easing of restrictions is just to maintain control. Going on 2 years more normies are getting tired of covid. If they keep pushing hard with restrictions they'll lose all support. It could have to do with the midterms as well but the US hasn't really changed much compared to other countries.

@zippydodahquirk9039 I think the next thing is going to be climate change. It's too nebulous and intangible. It's perfect to keep moving goalposts. They'll have pollution lockdowns where they cut electricity and ban driving.

@zippydodahquirk9039 if it is a virus it will be smallpox. Someone was stopped at an airport with a few vials of it a few months back. Covid was supposed to be that end of the world, black plague virus but like everything made in China it sucked. So now they're just going to go back to old reliable smallpox.
