@SabreAran Blake had a knife in hand. You can see it on the video. Also, he was kidnapping the kids in his vehicle. There's nothing that says someone cannot be shot in the back. A threat is a threat no matter which way they're facing. That's a liberal msm talking point that you're falling for

@amyfay5791 I have a hard time having any kind of sympathy for someone, high out of their mind, charging someone with a weapon. Whether that someone is police or not. As far as nonlethal means goes, tell that to Portland, which banned tear gas and rubber bullets. Kinda limits their options. Or Joe Biden who thinks police should de-escalate by shooting someone in the leg

John Doe where are you from? The police hiring process is longer than a firefighter's. Written test, physical test, polygraph, background check, medical exam, psych exam. Not to mention all the interviews and they even canvas the neighborhood of the applicant

@amyfay5791 I work in law enforcement so I do get information first hand. In a life or death situation you don't have time to make a mental health assessment. Nor should you. If someone is charging me with a knife I'm not going to stop and say "oh he has symptoms of being bipolar. I'll just get stabbed."

@amyfay5791 I don't comment on your job, you shouldn't comment on mine. You make yourself look like a fool. If that guy was coming at you or someone you love with the knife, you would be thanking those cops. It's easy to Monday morning quarterback everything when you've never been in that situation. It's a good thing people like you are not in control of public safety policy. I won't waste my time commenting on our training as you're clueless anyway. Seeing as you think someone with mental issues requires a separate set of rules and laws, even though they're just as dangerous, if not more.
