  1. My car won't start and when I turn the key it just clicks. I charged the battery overnight and same issue. Checked with a multimeter and it was around 11.4v with the car off. I planned on replacing the battery (it's 5 years old). Only thing I'm worried about is I had no low battery symptoms prior to it not starting. No slow cranking, no lights dimming, etc. The battery is probably due to be replaced anyway, but is that what it most likely is? I'd hate buy a battery just to find out its the alternator or starter.
