  1. Biden put his plan out for reducing the deficit months ago. He refused to talk to McCarthy for months because Republicans cannot be rewarded for holding the economy hostage to get stuff they should have negotiated during the yearly budgeting process. Everything Republicans do nowadays is so extreme. You are not supposed to negotiate with hostage takers.

  2. What Republicans were demanding was pretty extreme. 25 percent of the debt came from Trump, but they didn't think debt was an emergency until a Democrat was in the White House. Now they demand massive cuts or they will crash the economy.
