Bring back Obama. No friends in prison. Never got impeached. Didn’t lie 14,000 times. Didn’t have a scandal a day. Didn’t cheat on his third wife with a porn star. Didn’t live in conspiracy land. Wasn’t a white supremacist. Saved the economy. Brought down unemployment from 11% to 5%. Cut the uninsured rate in half. Record stock market. Bring back Obama

Ink Spots Does the fact that people were in the room with Trump when he made his phone call count as hearsay? Does the fact that people heard Sondland talking about Trump’s investigations count as hearsay? If you can’t use hearsay then lawyers would never be able to call witnesses in court. Hearsay is valid in criminal court, so it is fine here. LOL. It’s not like Trump is going to testify himself. Btw, I’ll prove there is a whistleblower after you prove there isn’t one. Everything is “hearsay” because Trump is illegally obstructing first-hand witnesses and documents. Soooooooo corrupt. Like Nixon. INNOCENT PEOPLE DONT DO THAT. I just find it a little strange that Republicans want to know who the whistleblower just so they can destroy him and call him partisan. He has a legal right to remain anonymous. What don’t you understand about that? Trump has no right to confront his accuser during impeachment.
2
Cel Fiu Why Elise 2028? She was grandstanding. She was faking being upset because Adam Schiff wouldn’t let her or other Republicans break the rules. Everyone gets 5 minutes. Period. All she did was read off news articles that said Schiff wanted the whistleblower to testify against Trump. Now he doesn’t need the whistleblower because there are already 10+ other witnesses saying backing the whistleblower up on Trumps misdeeds. So again, why Elise 2028?
2
Cel Fiu Gop: Refuses to let witnesses with firsthand information from testifying Gop: YoU dOnT hAvE aNy FiRsThAnD iNfOrMaTiOn!!

Google User Yes, Kanye. Just because I jump around does not make what I said any less true. Black people do NOT like Trump. Bring Obama back
2
CompuTech Commercial I.T Why does it matter whether or not Schiff knows who the whistleblower is? Isn’t that irrelevant? It’s not like Schiff made up stuff for the whistleblower to say. AND Schiff already apologized for his exaggeration of the phone call. The whistleblower is supposed to remain anonymous. Your complaints about Schiff have no bearing on the actual facts of the impeachment inquiry. Whether or not Schiff knows the name of the messenger does not change what Trump did. Why are you attacking someone else to defend Trump? I am personally glad for the whistleblower. Everyone knows Trump was trying to turn this into the 2020 version of Hillary’s emails.

CompuTech Commercial I.T I totally understand what you’re saying. It’s true that a lot of democrats tend to see racism everywhere even when there there doesn’t seem to be any. I have family members like that. It’s all a matter of perspective and how you were brought up. But it is also true that Republicans frequently pass laws that make it harder for Democrats to vote. And those Democrats are almost always seem to be people of color. So please excuse us for not being able to tell the difference. Now I don’t think you are going to convince many Democrats by shaming us, just like I’m not going to convince many Republicans by calling them racist. We are not “lazy.” No one is “incentivizing” single motherhood. We just want to help them. To us it looks like Republicans seem to think that single mothers should have a hard life to “teach them a lesson.” Again, I agree with you on some points. But Republicans do like to make it hard for us to vote. A party that puts up with that is not a party that is going to win in California.

The question is not whether Trump has committed impeachable crimes. He has. The question is whether Republicans in Congress will affirm that an American president is not above the law.
1
mynameisray He will be impeached for bribery and abuse of power. Taylor and Volker brought text message evidence. Sondland brought email evidence and testified that Giuliani (the president’s personal lawyer) was pushing a quid pro quo Also obstruction of justice, because Trump blocked every top witnesses from testifying under oath. INNOCENT PEOPLE DON’T DO THAT The only question is: do Republicans respond to corruption by removing him from office (Pence will be president), or do they point their fingers and say that Democrats are corrupt too

1
Raymond Serpa Okay, fine. He doesn’t think it’s impeachable. But I’ll tell you what. If Democrats don’t impeach him, it will mean that it is okay for all future presidents to extort other countries to force them to interfere in our elections. It will mean that it’s okay to break the law and cheat to win an election because there are no consequences. And yes, Trump broke the law (Both campaign finance law & the budget and impoundment control act) Same as if they didn’t go forward with impeaching Nixon, it would mean that it is okay to burglarize the headquarters of another party (like the Watergate Hotel) to help your party win. Because there are no consequences. So you tell me what deserves impeachment and what doesn’t? Obviously we can’t wait until the election to decide because the issue has to do with Trump cheating in that same election

100% Red Pill colourblind: It’s all “hearsay” because Trump won’t let first-hand witnesses testify. In a court of law, that would be evidence of guilt. And you are his accomplice for supporting him. Prison?
1
Once again, did Trump do the crime or not?

Ink Spots The journals weren’t entered into evidence for two reasons: 1. They are not evidence that OJ actually killed his wife. 2. OJ had some very good lawyers. Just like Trump has some very loyal defenders who won’t accept witness testimony because it didn’t come out of Trump’s mouth. Meanwhile, he blocks all documents subpoenaed by Congress. Again, if “hearsay” couldn’t be used in court, no one would ever be able to call witnesses to testify. The prosecutor would have to personally see every crime before he could prosecute.
1
D Jackson Yea who knows if it’s wrong? Ukraine says it needs weapons to defend itself and the President is like, “I need a favor though.” Investigate the Bidens. Yea sounds innocent enough 😊 Also, it’s easy to call everything hearsay when you block the witnesses who did the crime from testifying under oath. So please don’t treat me like I’m dumb. We all know Trump did it. Innocent people don’t hide evidence that might exonerate them. He is a CORRUPT
1
Cel Fiu But he is a criminal. He broke the law by soliciting foreign help in his own election. That’s why he doesn’t want the firsthand witnesses from testifying. Schiff subpoenaed Mick Mulvaney, Rick Perry, John Bolton, and Mike Pompeo plus about 10 other people with firsthand information. TRUMP BLOCKED ALL OF THEM There’s a word for that where I come from. It’s called: SUSPICIOUS INNOCENT PEOPLE DON’T DO THAT. Watch the actual hearings instead of twisted clips from Fox News!
1
Cel Fiu Schiff subpoenaed Mick Mulvaney, Rick Perry, John Bolton, and Mike Pompeo plus about 10 other people with firsthand information. TRUMP BLOCKED ALL OF THEM
1
gracie allen Let me ask you a simple question: If in the next two weeks Democrats obtain (through leaks) the documents that Trump blocked, and they show beyond a reasonable doubt that Trump actually did commit bribery or abuse of power in the Ukraine scandal, would you ever really support impeachment? I doubt it. And that would mean that you support corruption. It’s very simple So maybe the impeachment hearings really are pointless. Party over Constitution.
1
gracie allen The question is not whether Trump has committed impeachable crimes. He has. The question is whether Republicans in Congress will affirm that an American president is not above the law.
1
Cel Fiu Now we’re trying to justify Trump’s behavior. All politicians lie some of the time. I’m sure Obama lied some of the time. But you know what? I’m pretty sure he didn’t lie almost 14,000 times in 3 years It’s like people trying to justify Trump’s corruption by saying that Clinton lied under oath...about an affair. Seriously. Serial corruption vs. lying about an affair. And it’s just unbelievable that a corrupt president should actually be allowed to actually take part in an election he just tried to get a foreign power to interfere in (read: cheating) Instead of draining the swamp, he’s doing the exact opposite. But Republicans seem to have completely lost that “family values” moral compass. Could you imagine if the black president had 6 of his associates in prison? Trump is a CROOK
1
gracie allen Common sense The reason I do not believe Trump was just “looking into corruption” is because neither you nor I can find a single example of Donald Trump ever working to root out corruption...in his whole life. Almost every member of his cabinet has had a public scandal. The guy has 6 OF HIS OWN ASSOCIATES IN PRISON. And then he calls them rats for testifying against him. Like a mob boss. And in case you forgot (I’m sure you forgot), every relevant agency had already cleared Ukraine for the money after verifying it was fighting corruption. Newly released emails show the White House knew it wasn’t legal to block funds appropriated by Congress. And finally, am I supposed to believe that of all the companies in ALL THE WORLD, that the one company Trump wanted to look into for corruption had to do with his top political opponent? Really?? 🤦♂️ COMMON SENSE. Don’t leave it at the door.
1
Cel Fiu Sure I might possibly want to find dirt on my opponent. But the difference is, Trump tried to get a foreign nation to interfere in our elections...AGAIN. To help himself. He wanted Ukraine to PUBLICLY ANNOUNCE an investigation into Biden. Quite a bit different from “finding dirt” on someone. And it’s CORRUPT! What’s more is Trump abused his power as president to put pressure on them to help. And he broke two laws doing it (read: 1.campaign finance law... soliciting foreign help for an election and 2. Impoundment Act of 1974 ), in addition to fully obstructing the investigation. And it wasn’t just him. As his ambassador testified “Everyone was in the loop.” Finally, Trump made his phone call to Ukraine’s president literally the day after after Bob Mueller testified before Congress about 2016 Russian interference and collusion. This shows that Trump believes he is above the law. Trump was chasing conspiracy theories and tried to make Ukraine the 2020 version of Hillary’s emails ...but he got caught. I realize conservatives keep wanting to give Trump the benefit of the doubt, but what he did was CORRUPT and a CRIME. Democrats have no choice but to impeach him, or they will dignify all future presidents abusing their power to cheat in elections. There is nothing more dangerous than an unethical president who believes he is above the law
1
@LauFiu Now that's just what I don't get. Bribery is specifically laid out in the Constitution as an offense that deserves impeachment and removal from office. ("Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.") And yet you say "all they have is bribery" ......... Really? This man tried to rig the election in his favor and may have committed the impeachable offense of bribery, yet Republicans and conservatives are like "Nothing to see here, I don't think we should even be investigating him" Clearly putting party over the Constitution and the country. I cannot imagine in a million years you would just let Hillary Clinton off the hook for this (remember her emails). Just tell me, what is it about Donald Trump that lets him deserve to get off? There is no better example of corruption than rigging elections and bribery.
1
Cel Fiu I told you before nothing would change your mind. You want to focus on the word games rather than the corrupt act of trying to cheat in an election. You know full well Democrats are not going to play that game and push impeachment until after the election waiting to go through all the courts.... meanwhile Trump is actively trying to cheat in that same election. Come one now... COMMON SENSE You are not going to beat me in this argument. What Trump did is wrong and there’s no legitimate defense of it....other than just ignoring it.
1
@LauFiu Oh, also did you forget about the FELONIES Trump committed when he did his stunt with Ukraine? Do you care or did you forget to have an "unbiased opinion"??
1
Cel Fiu I told you the felonies two months ago but guess you forgot because ... you don’t actually care 1.Campaign finance law FELONY for soliciting foreign help related to an election 2. Impoundment Act of 1974 FELONY for blocking congressionally allocated funds after they were already cleared to be released by the Defense Department AND the State Department But once again, you don’t care or you would have remembered the last time I told you. You have fully given yourself to him. I told you you would not win this argument ... except by ignoring what Trump did. By ignoring how corrupt his actions were. Ignore, ignore, ignore ... then say that it’s actually the “Democrats” who are corrupt for daring to impeach the guy who most people didn’t vote for.... for cheating in a presidential election. Smh
1
Cel Fiu They didn’t put them in the articles because it would be a distraction from the true reason he was impeached. He was impeached for CHEATING in a presidential election. What do you not get about that?? Ignore, ignore, ignore. Like I said there is no way for you to win this argument. He did it! You still never answered my old question. What if Hillary did it???????Hmm? Would you still be so forgiving
1
Cel Fiu So my understanding is that you would want Hillary Clinton impeached if she tried to cheat in a presidential election (but not Trump). Interesting.
1
Cel Fiu My age isn’t important Here’s what I see happening: Republicans wanted to DESTROY Hillary over Benghazi — which all 50-something Republican investigations showed wasn’t her fault. Then Republicans wanted to DESTROY Hillary Clinton over her emails Republicans still want to DESTROY Hillary Clinton over all these unproven conspiracy theories about her “killing people” and “Uranium One” and “Epstein,” etc, etc, etc. But when a Republican cheats in a literal PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION —probably 10x worse anything you accuse Hillary of — you guys guys turn the other way. Republicans senators are supposed to try him on ALL the facts...yet they won’t even call the FIRSTHAND WITNESSES they supposedly wanted to hear from sooo badly, even when they offer to testify (Bolton). Then you blame the “biased MSM” for pointing these things out. Suddenly with Republicans it’s all “See no evil, hear no evil”

CompuTech Commercial I.T: But no one argues the facts. I think everyone agrees that Trump did what he is accused of. I think we all know that he would do what he is accused of. It’s just a matter of whether or not he should be removed from office for 1.bribery, 2.violating election law, 3.obstruction of Congress, 4.witness interference, or 5.Lying during the Mueller investigation He survives only with the help of his supporters, which make them accomplices to his CRIMES. He is physically incapable of not committing CRIMES
1
@computechcommerciali.t3265 You said Schiff lies a lot. What, exactly, has he lied so much about?
1
CompuTech Commercial I.T Republicans lost California almost entirely because they are anti-minority. In a state as diverse as California, you will not win an election by trying to make life harder for people of color. Republicans will have a hard time winning in a state that is almost 40% Hispanic by denigrating immigrants or promising to build a wall. Republicans will have a hard time winning when they spend all their time making it harder for black, brown, and young people to vote. I think that’s part of why Republicans like Trump so much. He promises to delay the point when Republicans will have to bring new people into the party. In short, Republicans support common heritage over democracy. Trump is the response to a strong Republican fear of demographic change.

Once again, the main question is DID TRUMP DO IT OR NOT? It seems like the money wasn’t released until after the whistleblower report came out Anything else is a distraction
