He was being directed by Trump...Individual #1. Donald Trump committed a federal crime before he became president. Unless he pardons himself, he is very much eligible to do some jail time just for that one crime.

  7. Of course you can raid someone's house. It's no different than any other criminal investigation. You just don't think the law should apply to Trump because it's "unprecedented." But guess what, it's also unprecedented for people to steal hundreds of national security documents and keep them in their house when they no longer work for the government. And it's also unprecedented for someone to defy a criminal subpoena to return those national security documents.

Also, Trump's campaign had NUMEROUS contacts with Russian officials during the campaign (which they then tried to cover up). Remember, that's why Mike Flynn was convicted. They willingly accepted help from Russia, and Donald Jr. met with members of Russian intelligence in Trump Tower to get dirt on Hillary. Just because it wasn't enough to charge Donald with conspiracy DOES NOT make it made up. 2) The dossier: You're right that it had some unverified information. But much of it was true. And as you know, it was paid for by Republicans wanting to stop Trump before Democrats took up the funding. 3) Tax returns: That's not a conspiracy theory. Trump told us years ago he would release his tax returns and lied. Why did he lie??? Come to find out he pays no taxes and owes half a BILLION dollars to foreign banks. Not a conspiracy theory. 4) No one spied on Trump illegally. Bill Barr and the Republican DOJ released a report over a year ago making that clear. Yet another Republican conspiracy theory. So, as I said, the right is much, MUCH more likely to believe in conspiracy theories. The whole point is to keep them angry enough at Democrats to get them to the polls.

  27.  @jerrywilkerson7946  As far as Germany is concerned, they actually have three genders built into their language for all nouns...male, female, and neuter. So I can't say that it's all that strange for them to start using the third gender when talking about people. As far as Canadians creating, it does sound a little extreme, but it doesn't affect me. And society will change with or without me, so I'm not going to make a big deal out of it. As far as biological men competing in female sports....obviously it's not common (that's why it makes the news in the first place). And the fairness part of it has a lot to do with whether they did their transition before or after puberty. But I personally don't have a strong opinion on it (it doesn't affect me so thankfully I don't have to have an opinion).

Have you ever even met a Canadian who wanted more than two genders? I'm betting you haven't. A movement doesn't define the society.   30.  @jerrywilkerson7946  You know what, I do think conservatives believe in science.... when it fits with their core beliefs (so not anything to do with covid, climate change, or statistics linking countries with more guns to more homicides) Conservatives love science. But they hate the scientists (AKA anyone who is an "expert"). They will take a vaccine....unless it was created by "experts". LOL They belive the government should spend money to build weapons, but not to fix climate change. They believe in some parts of economics (the free market produces innovation) but not others. For example, economics says don't give tax cuts when the debt is high and the economy is already booming. That's actually when you should be raising taxes to pay off the debt. Here's the common theme: Conservatives want to hear “both sides” of arguments, even for settled science that’s not really up for debate. This makes conservatives are much more prone to misinformation than the general public.

  31.  @aj-zt8br  First of all, how do inflation, grocery shops, crime have anything to do with Biden fulfilling his duty to pick a nominee? You do know that the president has more than one job right? Second, Clarence Thomas was NOT chosen based on merit. He was chosen because he was one of the few black conservatives available to Bush Sr. when Thrurgood Marshall died on the court. And just like Amy Coney Barret, Thomas was a judge for LESS THAN 2 YEARS before being elevated to the Supreme Court. His views were widely seen as extreme and he would NOT have had a chance at confirmation if he weren't one of the few black conservatives available. And third, no I would not be upset if a white man appointed me to a position of power to help with diversity. Considering these women are ALL more qualified than several Republican picks on the Court, I see it as heroic to end some of the entrenched discrimination. And to expose on camera conservatives' hypocrity and their true views about seeing black people in power.

  32.  @aj-zt8br  If you were a white man living in a mostly black country, where white people made up a significant part of the population but have been discriminated against for hundreds of years, I think you might feel differently about considering race. About having ANY real representation. It's so easy for a white person to say, "I wouldn't consider race," when almost every judge in history was a white man. When all our laws were vetted primarily by white men, who had no restrictions on the schools they could attend or the law societies they could join to get them noticed in legal circles. White people didn't suffer when they upheld slavery or said that "separate is equal," which we know is total BS. White people didn't suffer when the Supreme Court struck down the core of the Voting Rights Act, on the premise that "racism is over in the South." You didn't have to worry about being left out consideration because the court already had a person of color. Even though Justice Thomas consistently "interprets" the law in ways that harm people of color. I can't force you to be open-minded, all I can do is try.

If you are forced to get a vaccine, it will either be by your job or by some place you want to enter that requires proof of vaccination. Maybe even your school. Any private organization or company has the legal authority to do that. But you don't have to worry about it coming from liberals in the government.

  48.  @johntomasik1555  Of course it was rushed. What choice did they have? If it weren't for the vaccines, we would still be locked down. That's just reality. Unvaccinated people are inadvertently relying on the vaccinated to make their lives better. Besides, it wasn't that rushed. They've been studying coronaviruses for years and they had already developed a vaccines for SARS and MERS, which are very similar to Covid. Everyone saying they "skipped steps" is misinformed. In fact, they had a head-start because of the other vaccines.

Why is it that in the United States we have so many people who don't trust the vaccines, versus everyone else on the planet who seems desperate to get it. Given we were fortunate enough to have early and plentiful access, why is it that everyone else in the world seems to want our own vaccines more than us? I'm pretty sure anyone who thought they were "unhealthy" already got the shot. So that means everyone sitting in a hospital bed hooked up to oxygen was just like you. Playing Russian roulette. And here come the lockdowns again. Because too many unvaccinated people who thought they were fine got a rude awakening. They are always so "shocked" that they were one of the unlucky ones. And as far as us having an expensive, ineffective healthcare system, that's not the government's fault. We chose a for-profit healthcare system. Countries with cheap and effective healthcare went the government route. You can't complain about how bad and expensive our for-profit healthcare system when this is the system you chose as a Libertarian.
