It's because tens of thousands of ballots have been disqualified just this year because the signature didn't perfectly match the database. No evidence of voter fraud (as I'm sure you know), but the signature wasn't a perfect match, so they threw out the ballot.

Why else would they do it when there is no evidence of voter fraud? Why did this stuff only start happening after the Supreme Court gutted the Voting Rights Act?

Last major case of election fraud was in North Carolina.... committed by Republicans no less Feel free to google "North Carolina voter fraud". They had to redo the election because Republicans cheated.

And in the process the cell is damaged or killed. And your immune system goes haywire. There's nothing about election day that changes that.
