  1. 28 U.S.C. ยง 455 - U.S. Code - (a) Any justice, judge, or magistrate judge of the United States shall disqualify himself in any proceeding in which his impartiality might reasonably be questioned. The law quite literally says she "shall" take herself off the case. Literally no one trusts her to be impartial.
