  1. Democrats have not had a history of voting against nominees just because of their judicial philosophy. With Trump's picks, they voted against them for other reasons: 1. Gorsuch because his seat was stolen from Obama after Republicans held the seat open for an entire year (because the November 2020 election was supposed "too close" ... in February). 2. Kavanaugh because of allegations of sexual abuse that came out right as his hearings were going on. 3. Barrett because Republicans flip flopped and rammed her through literally weeks before an election Republicans ended up losing (AKA a second stolen seat in the eyes of Democrats). Before Republicans royally screwed over Obama, Supreme Court nominations were quite bipartisan.
