It would be different if he had been sued, but this is a criminal investigation. 2. Clinton and Obama never faced a criminal grand jury subpoena. They faced subpoenas from Congress (like the ones Trump has flat out refused to comply with all year). Tesla hasn't even been in existence for decades. And everyone is working on new battery technology. Also, Rivian has higher range than the equivalent Tesla. Also, the big infrastructure bill they passed the end of 2021 has money for installing thousands of charging stations across the country.

Even if it ends up at half that number, it will be an enormous investment that will benefit all EVs. For perspective, Tesla currently has 40,000.
