@UCuUwFMBt1ZMy-CiAEc7qxhg So if the answer is NO, why are you getting upset? Looks like we are both in agreement that Kanye was in the wrong. We agree.
2
@big_goat I guess you forgot that he ran in 2020 and got nowhere.
2
@big_goat What would you like me to search my soul for and reflect on? Or you just mad that Kanye is a joke who just outed himself as a white supremacist
2
It's not going to go public. He would need to partner with an investment bank to make that happen, and no investment bank is going to destroy their reputation just to help him.
2
@ctrl2378 Reputations don't recover from racist rants. I challenge you to find a single celebrity whose reputation recovered after a racist rant.
2
He slipped up by revealing his racism? Is that how you see it? The problem is not that he's a white supremacist, it's that he said it out loud, is what you're saying?

@vermiliongourd4619 Funny how you drag BLM into this, as if that has any bearing on his recent actions. You don't condone hate speech, you just don't think there should be any consequences for promoting white supremacy. Kinda sounds like you do condone it.
1
@vermiliongourd4619 The term "cancel culture" is used way too broadly. Some wrongs deserve to have you cancelled. And that definitely applies to what Kanye did. It was no a mistake. He was incredibly forceful with his bigotry. And the consequences would have been the same 20 years ago. There was no triggering, race-baiting, or political movement. There's just what he said and did and the obvious and necessary consequences. No need try to be all smart and philosophical and try to overcomplicate it.
1
@vermiliongourd4619 Kanye is vocally anti-black and anti-Jew. And he openly promotes white supremacist ideology. He the Black white supremacist from the Dave Chapelle skit. Stop trying to overcomplicate it and cover for him while blaming everyone else for having a reasonable response. He is a bad person who is facing consequences. You are the only one trying to bring politics into it to excuse his white supremacy.
1
@vermiliongourd4619 What you're saying is unrelated to the current controversy. That's why I'm ignoring it. You're ignoring what Kanye did so you can come up with a justification for his white supremacist remarks. I guess that means you share his views.
1
@vermiliongourd4619 So what about the antisemitism? LOL. You're "not in support of it," yet you're certainly spending a lot a time defending it for someone who doesn't support it. Sounds like you support it. Don't lie to yourself. What about the antisemitism.
1
@vermiliongourd4619 <----- supports hate
1
@vermiliongourd4619 No I don't think I'm being quick to judge. You make it very clear what you believe in by who and what you choose to defend. The average person would walk away and not even attempt to defend this mess. Free speech ..... consequences 👌
1
@vermiliongourd4619 Okay I'll ask point blank. Are you okay with what Kanye said and did? A plain YES or NO will be good enough, since you're not defending him. YES or NO?
1
@vermiliongourd4619 And yet we still agree that Kanye was in the wrong. And that's really all that matters here.
1
@vermiliongourd4619 So what you're saying is that you don't like BLM because their leadership has taken advantage of people who want to fight for black life. But you're frustrated that the super-famous celebrity who voiced your views about BLM happens to be a white supremacist - which you obviously can't support. That does indeed sound frustrating. We've all had some of our favorite celebrities turn out to be bad people though. Kevin Spacey, R. Kelly.

Name tarnished for all of history. No more business deals, and no more music label.
1
Sure. In addition to tarnishing his own name for all of history. Small price to pay to end a business deal, right?
1
@water2563 What products? He has no more products. Unless you can see him running his own warehouse and production line, Yeezy no longer exists. All he has now is streaming. But his music will be forever tainted, just like R. Kelly's music is forever tainted.
1
@RellshouldBsleep Yeah sure. All he has to do is sell them himself. Right after he comes up some new designs he actually owns, starts his own shoe manufacturing company, and hire some white supremacist consultants and workforce. Sure 👍
1
@firerabbit2659 What makes you think he's playing chess?
1
@king13604 Yeah. Some nice racist souvenirs. I bet people can't wait to get their hands on them and show them off. You should go first.
1
@aaaaaaa4821 Oh I see. You like his racism. I figured. Luckily the world has also seen him be held accountable. Actions ---> Consequences
1
@water2563 It's not about funding. In order to go public, you legally MUST do it through an investment bank. That's how it works. And I'm telling you it is NOT going to happen. Look at all these racists hoping there are enough white supremacists out there to help Kanye start his own shoe company.
1
@aaaaaaa4821 Oh yeah? Something ,something ,something rant. Pretty sure Kanye has done nothing good for the Jewish community. But feel free to provide some examples.
1
@sadizm What "more sensible" country are you thinking of that has investment banks in support of antisemetism?
