@janibeg3247 I am NOT talking about voter ID. That's only a tiny part of what Republicans are trying to do. Also, the bill by Democrats does NOT ban voter ID. So, Jani, please stop trying to change the subject. Republicans all over the country do NOT want black people to vote. If they did, they wouldn't be passing all these new voting laws that disproportionately affect black and brown people. Okay Jani. I hope that makes sense. Black people said "No" and Republicans did it anyway.

@janibeg3247 Pretty difficult to admit guilt when you know the party you support is purposely being the bad guys in this story. Trying to steal elections while at the same time accusing the Democrats of stealing elections (Republicans are STILL trying to prove fraud over a year after the fact). Trump got impeached twice for trying to steal the 2020 election. And now Republicans are continuing down the road of bogus accusations in order to prevent black people from voting. Yes, it really is that bad Jani. That's your party.

That doesn't answer why all these states are passing laws making it harder to vote TODAY. Why in the past year are these states suddenly passing all these laws making it harder to vote?

@janibeg3247 But why right now, and all at the same time? Why are they decreasing the number of polling places in black and brown communities?

@janibeg3247 Pretty sure you don't have an answer for why they are decreasing the number of polling places in black and brown areas... 🤔

@janibeg3247 I think I need to correct you. Voting precincts and the number of polling places are set at the STATE level, not by cities. Until very recently, Michigan was controlled entirely by Republicans. So basically what happened in Detroit is yet ANOTHER example of Republicans screwing over black and brown voters. Thank you for proving my point Jani. Republicans don't want black people to vote... in any of the 50 states. You have any more whataboutisms you want to try on me to justify Republicans' dislike of black people?
1
@janibeg3247 And all that may be true. But your whataboutism still does NOT explain why Republicans are trying to replicate Detriot in all these other states?? In your own words, that is a bad model to follow. Hint: Republicans don't like black people who vote.

@janibeg3247 Look at the Georgia and Texas voting laws. Making it easier to just throw out votes. Making it easier to just purge people's voter registration. Making it so that Republican lawmakers can just take over the vote counting process. Republivans don't believe that Democrats can ever win legitimately and they're prepared to go to extraordinary measures to throw out a Democratic win.
