@maytheforcebewithyou2701 Trump only got 15% of the black vote (which for some reason is seen as an "accomplishment"). And Republicans tend to be against just about everything most black people care about, other than lowering unemployment. It's true that they are afraid of people who don't support them. But I think you're giving them too much credit for being "not racist". Just look at their reaction to the protests last summer....there were no "open ears" and empathy for unarmed black people killed by police, just complaints about rioters. Look at how they treated Colin Kaepernick just for kneeling in silence. Then there's the Muslim ban, separation of Latin American children from their parents. White supremacists storming the Capitol to overturn an election they felt was stolen from them in black and brown cities. Accusing Biden's black Secretary of Defense not being "qualified" even though he's a four-star General. You could literally fill an encyclopedia with examples of Republican Party racism from just the past 5 years.

@JustChuck1982 What are you talking about? California has a Democratic governor (Gavin Newsom) and WAAAYYYY more Democratic voters. About 11 million people in California voted for Democrats in November vs. less than 6 million for Republicans. Democrats hold the vast majority of seats from California in the U.S. House of Representatives and both seats in the US Senate. Also every single statewide official (eg attorney general, comptroller, governor, SecState) is a Democrat. P.s. I think you need to re-read how the Electoral College works.

@JustChuck1982 It's true. The poorest states are all Red states (except for maybe New Mexico, which is blue). Mississippi is a Red state, and so are all the other poor states in the south. Btw nobody said "all" Red states were poor. The richest states are all blue states, yet Republicans are always calling them "poorly managed." How ironic.

@JustChuck1982 That's not true. Not all people in Detroit are Democrats (most sure, but not all). And not all people who live outside of Detroit are Republicans. I live in Chicago, and while most people support Democrats, there are plenty of Republicans here too. You're accusing the media of over-simplifying things into red/blue, but you're literally doing the exact same thing. Every city, state, and rural area is a mix of Democrats and Republicans, just with different concentrations.

@JustChuck1982 Btw, Los Angeles and San Francisco have a combined population of 5 million. California as a whole has a population of 42 million. I think you might be mistaken that most Californians live in those two cities.
5
@JustChuck1982 Only 12% of Californians live in Los Angeles and San Francisco. But 65% percent of Californians voted for Democrats. It seems your statement about a MAJORITY of Democrats living in those two cities if wrong.
5
@JustChuck1982 You didn't say MAJORITY either. You just said elections are decided by Detroit. Don't put words in your own mouth, then I won't have to.

@JustChuck1982 You make a lot of false statements. Do you even bother Googling stuff before putting your "knowledge" out there? The know-nothingism is not appealing.
