Oh wait, now Republicans believe in polls again? When did that happen?
1
"Hey Brad. Brad Raffensperger, I need you to find me 11,780 votes. Okay." "We need to put in some extra votes for me and then accuse the Dems of cheating. Okay" "Hey Brad, if you don't overturn this election, my voters are going to blame you for my loss and vote against you." Lol.
1
@Selektorsfraternityclothing I love how Republicans invented their own term, RINO, for anyone who is disloyal to Trump. It's so cultish. Notice how Democrats have diversity of opinion. We don't call each other DINOs and try to eject people from the party like you're doing with this guy and Liz Cheney.
1
His friends told on him
1
@trustinJesus_only-_ That base was used to compile reports for the Joint Chiefs. And Jack decided to use his proximity to steal military secrets.
1
Funny how the only people who think Hunter should be prosecuted are people who are not lawyers. Among those with a legal education, both Republicans and Democrats see nothing there but something to rile up the MAGA crowd.
1
@jackwoods535 Really? MSM covered the border too. Everyone was covering it for a straight month. Then they moved on to something else with the next news cycle. This is what I'm talking about. Fox tells you that the MSM doesn't cover stuff, but that's BS. Fox makes a FORTUNE off telling you that you can't trust anyone but them. And they don't hide the fact that they specifically want to push issues that motivate Republicans.
1
No. It's classified. That's the whole reason Trump is in trouble. Because he's a narcissist and thinks everything belongs to him.
1
@charlesvan13 None of the 3 crimes he is being investigated for require that the documents be classified. Just thought I'd throw that out there since certain media outlets don't seem to be pointing that out, while others do constantly. Basically it doesn't matter if Trump declassified them. He stole government documents that should be with the National Archives. And the fact that he declined to give them back after receiving a grand jury subpoena from the DOJ back in the spring shows the criminal intent. The DOJ predicted his "I declassified them" defense.
1
@charlesvan13 No one ever said he was being investigated for actual "espionage". It's much simpler than that. Found in the warrant, they were looking for violations of 18 U.S. Code § 793 - Espionage Act: "Gathering, transmitting or losing defense information. Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 10 years, or both." Basically if he had ANY government documents that were defense related at Mar-a-Lago, he is going to prison. It's just that simple. The Espionage Act was written before the modern classification system. Which is why it doesn't matter if they were classified or not. Second crime listed in the warrant is obstruction of justice. Another easy conviction, since he declined to return the documents multiple times. A 20 year sentence.
1
@charlesvan13 That comment about Obama is yet another lie. National Archives debunked it within hours. Do you even have access to google?
1
James Grigg Lol
1
Deep state. Haha. Idiot Republican conspiracy theories. You probably believe in the Illuminati too
1
It really is funny how it’s ALWAYS Republicans going to prison for these types of things. No matter who’s in office. Either they’re WAY more blatant or just REALLY bad at not getting caught. I wonder what you guys would have said if even a single one of Obama’s friends had gone to prison — vs. 6 or 7 of Trump’s. Trump may indeed win the award for strongest economy in history, but he MOST DEFINITELY win the award for most corrupt.
1
@RJ1999x I have to say, I am getting quite tired of minority rule in this country. If Republicans would just get some popular policies instead of constantly trying to break the system. A President elected by the minority and a Republican Senate elected by a minority of the population (53 Republican senators represent 45% of the country). And then the President most people didn't want tries to cheat to win reelection. And Republicans are SHOCKED that Democrats would dare to impeach him with the support of 52% of the country. And then Mitch McConnell says he WILL NOT be impartial and will work with the accused White House during the trial. And Republicans are SHOCKED that Nancy Pelosi won't send the Articles to the Senate so he can be immediately acquitted.
1
@debbydeloach No, not really. Republicans keep telling themselves this. But most of us want any Democrat or Republican who commits crime to be held accountable. Even Biden, assuming you ever find direct evidence of bribes. Even Democratic Sentor Menendez and people who rioted in 2020. All of them. If you can prove it. But it is next to impossible to find a Republican who wants Trump held accountable for crime. That's the problem.
1
@hardwired4548 You're voting for Trump because he committed crime and is being prosecuted for it. And you think your favored politicians should be immune from prosecution for crime. Read the indictment.
1
Funny how no one wants to talk about how unfair the electoral college is. You would rather bash Warren for wanting to make things fair.
1
@Rob Merrill No, did you not hear the professor? The electoral college doesn't help "less populated states." It helps "swing states” like Florida. Hawaii and Idaho are small states but you don't see presidential candidates even mention those places. There is no legitimate defense of the electoral college.
1
Susan Pelsue But she wants to make the system fair. One person, one vote. What’s so wrong with that? Do you prefer always win because you have an unfair advantage?
1
@robmerrill3460 California and New York would not have an "unfair advantage." It would be the very definition of fair, because that's where all the people live. Assuming you live in Florida or some other swing state, why should New Yorkers and Californians be disenfranchised to help you.
1
@susanpelsue2756 California and New York would not have an "unfair advantage." It would be the very definition of fair, because that's most of the people live. "Flyover states" are not swing states...except for Iowa and Nevada, so the electoral college doesn't help them. Why should New Yorkers and Californians have their vote count less than someone in Iowa or Nevada?
1
@robmerrill3460 No that's not true. Small states have more power because the number of Electoral College seats is based on the total number of House and Senate seats combined. Every state gets 2 Senate seats regardless of population, so a person's vote Wyoming counts more than 40x more than a person in California. Swing states like Florida and Nevada have the most power of all, whether or not they are big or small. People in Illinois, Alabama, and Tennessee do not matter at all. I wonder if Republicans will still like the electoral college if Texas turns blue???? I think I might move there now just to speed it along.
1
Spending has the power to increase inflation. Taxing has the power to lower inflation. Which is why the bill is expected to have a mostly neutral effect on inflation. But in exchange we get more drilling, tax credits help the eventual move to cleaner energy, and lower healthcare costs in the form of lower insurance premiums and drug prices. Paid for by a 15% minimum tax on the largest 55 companies that use accounting tricks to avoid paying ANY taxes at all. And by closing a loophole that allows hedge fund managers to pay a lower tax rate than everyone else. Doesn't seem so negative to me 🤷🏾♂️ Unless you can spot something everyone else missed.
1
@Blueprint4Murder Don't commit crimes and nothing will happen to any of us. Trump brought this on himself, hard as it is for some people to admit it. Law enforcement asked for the documents back and he and his butler concealed amd deceived them.
1
Leaks happen under every president. Under Trump, I remember very clearly that we had leaks about wrongdoing in the government on an almost daily basis.
1
Watergate was done by a Republican
1
How is Lindswy Graham a present Republican. He doesn't support a single policy pushed by Democrats.
1
@TheBullDurham What? He took Trump's side on just about everything. What more do you want from him?
1
@TheBullDurham This is why we call Republicans extremists. Even the most right-wing Trump loyalists are still not doing enough in your view. You are seriously willing to go to any extreme in the pursuit of power.
1
We are already great. We do not want to work together to go back to the ways of the 1950s.
1
@aBoughtLemon It's strange you say I support Bush 2.0 and Bush 3.0, because Bush was a Republican (like Trump) and I actually voted for his opponent both times.
1
@paigewood7709 Americans always want to restrict immigration so only white Europeans can come. Americans have such a strong fear of people who are different.
1
@aBoughtLemon It's funny you think we should be embarrassed for Biden having the support of Black Lives Matter. This movement, even with all its flaws, has shed a bright light on police brutality that black people have been dealing with for over 100 years. We are NOT embarrassed to stand up against racial violence. 16 shots! George Floyd! Breonna Taylor! Trayvon Martin. Society is changing to be more equal. You can push back. But it will happen with or without your support.
1
@aBoughtLemon I honestly find it funny how everyone complains about "the establishment" here in 2020. It's easy to do that after being introduced to Trump and Bernie Sanders after the fact. True sheep. Republicans had no problem with Bush until Iraq started going downhill. And most Democrats never had a problem with Obama until Bernie ran for office. That's the thing with Trump and Bernie supporters. They always want to judge the actions of the past by modern-day standards. The whole holier-than-thou attitude.
1
@kirby711 Republicans always say they have no problem with legal immigrants. But then they cheered when Trump tried to lower the number of legal immigrants we let in. It's all a lie. Republicans don't like any immigrants. It's just that illegal immigrants are an easy target.
1
@aBoughtLemon And Trump made explicit white nationalism (AKA white supremacy) acceptable in the US. There you got. Evil.
1
@aBoughtLemon Oh now Republicans are concerned about the debt again. Well we probably wouldn't have 28 trillion in debt if Trump hadn't cut taxes AND increased spending during a good economy. It's completely backwards and Incompetent. If ever there was a time to decrease the debt, that was it! But Trump blew it... all to achieve short term gains to help himself (and he still lost). Now that Biden will be entering office, Republicans will no doubt "re-discover" their concern about the national debt and do anything in their power to force Biden to have a slow recovery. Just like they did with Obama. Un-American.
1
@kirby711 Yes, I am a know it all. And what bothers me is the fact that today's conservatives either feel like facts do not matter, or they live by an entirely different set of facts . The media conservatives consume keeps telling them they can't trust the mainstream media, only conservative news. So they come into these conversations surprised when someone pokes holes in their argument.
1
It's different in Georgia. As long as she doesn't speak about jury deliberations behind closed doors, she is free to speak about all she saw and heard during the process.
1
It's not about having him drop out. Tucker keeps feeding everyone that line that he's being prosecuted so that he can't run. We could care less if he runs. He lost before with the chaos, he'll lose again. We want him prosecuted because he needs to be held accountable. He tampered with the 2016 election and is finally being held accountable. He tried to cheat in the 2020 election and the prosecutions for that will be coming soon. The larger disaster would be what would happen long-term if we didn't hold presidents accountable.
1
@sherrychilds2034 SCI and TS are both classifications above Top Secret. They actually spell out all the definitions in the indictment that Republicans are never going to read.
1
@ronbenson8894 I don't watch cable news. I just see the science telling us you are 11x more likely to die if you are unvaccinated. And then I see that Republicans are much less likely to take the vaccine. So my conclusion is that Republicans are against the vaccine because Democrats are for it.
1
@sonnylambert4893 TDS is how Trump supporters justify not holding Trump accountable for his one man crime wave. I could just as easily call you a cult member for defending him as he commits crime in broad daylight.
1
Exactly. Managing debt is apparebtly only important when a Democrat is in office.
1
@bryincda Republicans are the main ones making it racial with all their attacks. You can't be anti-identity politics but always be bringing up race.
1
@drvoodoo3073 You have to stop believing Fox News when they tell you about Biden "crimes." Fox has already admitted in court that they lie to you because it's what you want to hear. They tell you Biden committed crimes because it's what you want to hear. You will always be continually frustrated that Democrats don't get punished because Fox keeps pushing unproven claims they know you want to hear.
1
@cristineconnell7803 He actually WASN'T investigating crimes. Amd that was the problem. If you go ANYWHERE other than conservative media that is facing billion dollar lawsuits for telling you comforting falsehoods, you will see that.
1
Jeffrey Kalb Well maybe Trump shouldn’t try to cheat in elections and more people will like him.
1
He specifically waived his rights to see their data. Yet they still let him see it after he complained. They gave him the "firehouse" of all the tweets that go through their platform. He said he was the only person in the world who could fix Twitter's bot problem. Now he says he's canceling the deal because there's too many bots... Really??
