That's because they misworded it the article title for clickbait. Yes, prices went up slightly, as expected. As they always do since the beginning of time. But inflation....the speed that prices are going up...decreased. Only slightly above target. Which means the price increases are much less noticeable and gives people's wages time to keep up.

@JoshV-e9h And McDonalds profits have fallen this year. They raised their prices at double the rate of inflation thinking we would just accept their price gouging as "inflationary times." Don't eat there until they drop their prices back to the level of their peers.
