Jenny Lee But you see they got nothing done. All they did was argue. When the cameras are rolling you don’t want to be on film giving away concessions because you look weak. Trump will never negotiate on camera again. It embarrassed him when the he shut down the government but had already taken the blame

@iamhudsdent2759 The evidence of fraud is underwhelming actually. This has already been to the Supreme Court and dozens s of other courts. Arizona audit completed. No fraud. Biden actually gained votes.

@jackgoff6043 It didn't blow up in our face. He is gone isn't he? Republicans love to talk about how Biden's approval rating is so low. But they forget that the last guy's was even lower at this point in his presidency. They forget because at the time they were calling all the approval ratings fake.

@johnpatmos1722 Almost every news article has a link so you can read it.

Yea. We were quite determined to kick the other guy out. Trump supporters seem so shocked by the idea that most people HATED Trump. It should not be shocking. His disapproval rating was over 50 percent the entire time he was in office.

@livefreeprintguns I didn't say Trump looked weak. What I said was he took the strong man route since he was on camera. He volunteered ON CAMERA to take the blame for a government shutdown ("I will shut down the government if I don't get what I want"). Watch the video.. Then when the government finally shut down, he tried to blame it on Democrats. Trump literally tried to invert reality. One of the thousands of obvious Trump lies that supporters like you happily accepted. And it would never have happened if the cameras hadn't been there. They could have calmed down and hammered out a deal rather than trying to embarrass each other on video.

@corbykissler I will never get over the rights obsession with Hillary Clinton. She has been out of public life for 5 years now, out of public office for 9 years. But after all these years, Republicans are still consumed with chasing Hillary Clinton conspiracies and getting her arrested. Meanwhile, they want to just blow off all the blatantly correct stuff being done by their side to stay in power even though they have only won the popular vote ONCE in the past 30 YEARS.
2
@michaeltaddeo3242 Useful idiot? But didn't millions of Republicans vote for Trump because of hatred of Hillary Clinton?
2
@michaeltaddeo3242 That's because you like the strongman approach. But most Americans don't. It's not part of our culture. We didn't need strongman authoritarians to become the most powerful country on earth and we don't need them now.

Gamer 49 It’s funny because the Republican Party currently employs Crowdstrike for its own cybersecurity. That’s awkward https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/white-house/republicans-hired-the-same-cybersecurity-firm-as-the-hacked-dnc-but-its-not-clear-that-was-a-bad-idea%3F_amp%3Dtrue

And then God removed him after he attempted a coup to overthrow the government

@johnpatmos1722 Unfortunately they is a corrupt Trump appointed judge assigned to this case. I say she is corrupt because she specifically showed him favor and said he should be treated differently than other suspects because he is a former president. She held up the case for months by preventing investigators form even looking at the classified documents they retrieved from Trump's residence, and suggested they might be his "personal property". She was overruled by a higher court of mostly Trump appointees that told her she didn't even have jurisdiction to take up the case and that she was making up the law out of thin air to help Trump. Now this same judge will be presiding over the criminal trial.

@terachuck156 That's because Republicans today have become a hivemind with very few positive policy ideas with a single goal of loyalty to Donald Trump (prove me wrong). She was disloyal, therefore she is not a "true" Republican. The party has become quite cultish lately, no dissent is allowed. No cooperation with the other party is allowed. Defying Trump gets you kicked out the party.
1
Yea its called a conversation. You came here looking for a reality TV show. Sorry we canceled that show in it's 4th season.
1
The party of holding people accountable. I'll remind you that Republicans impeached a president for lying about an affair. Yet they couldn't bring themselves to support this impeachment after Trump tried to overthrow democracy.

@michaeltaddeo3242 Promising to restore peace and order to a nation divided is a legitimate way to win. And that's what Biden did. There's nothing wrong with voting peace and order in our society. The last four years have been complete chaos, starting with him trying to ban people of an entire religion in his first week and ending with the insurrection at the Capitol.
1
@michaeltaddeo3242 Yes. The country is Indonesia. But how do you think that question would be answered by Trump and the average Trump supporter? The simple fact is, Trump ran on that and then found a legal way to implement it based on "national security" concerns.
1
@michaeltaddeo3242 Sooo many accomplishments and yet he still lost by 7 million votes. Its almost like it takes more than "accomplishments" to get reelected. It takes getting more people to vote for you. Which means they actually need to like you more than the other guy. Trump knew the rules of the game, but he was more concerned with playing to his base than expanding his appeal.
1
@Revelator2025 Please elaborate
1
The fact that you have to ask is probably a sign that Republicans shouldn't have done this. But who cares about shame right? You get to entertain all the old white people
1
@jackgoff6043 The difference is how much we prioritize certain issues. Most people caught crossing the border are caught and turned back. Also I don't feel any more threatened by China and Russia than I did when Trump was in office. They will always be powerful rivals. Finally, gas prices and unemployment went up because of Covid. It's not like we can just ignore that because you want something to blame on Biden.
1
@jackgoff6043 Biden did NOT stop the u.s. from drilling for oil. All he did was stop NEW leases on FEDERAL lands.. Our oil output slowed when Covid hit and no one was going buying any gas. Now that demand is up, oil companies have hesitated to increase output because they are able to enjoy higher profits with output where it is now. It's the same way overseas. Listen to a few of their corporate earnings calls.
1
@jackgoff6043 You're absolutely right, the Keystone pipeline had nothing to do with it. The Keystone pipeline wasn't even operational yet, so clearly that wouldn't affect CURRENT gas prices. Future gas prices....maybe, but it's only been 6 months. I think you just completely ignored the economic aspect of what I said because it's easier to just blame Biden. No need to use extra brain power to think it through all the way or listen to a corporate earnings call. Gas prices were caused by COVID, not your opinions.
1
@jackgoff6043 You're right. The death numbers under Biden are pretty high. But most of those deaths took place in the winter and spring when covid was already widespread but before vaccines were widely available. Deaths slowed dramatically after the vaccines became widely available. And current deaths would be almost nonexistent if vaccine-hesitant people would stop inflating the death numbers by dying so much. They said their immune systems were strong enough, so tell them to stop dying.
1
@jackgoff6043 Funny how conservatives spend so much time blaming Democrats for making too big a deal of Covid. But in the next sentence, they are criticizing Democrats for not doing enough to get rid of Covid. You criticize mandates, but then bring up how many Covid deaths there are under Biden. Talk about hypocrisy. How about you help solve the problem or go away.
1
@jackgoff6043 Whataboutism. No need to acknowledge one's own shortcomings if you can just find something about the other side to complain about. Again, come up with some ideas to help end the pandemic or go away.
1
@jackgoff6043 I'm questioning if you even want the pandemic to end. Multiple times I asked you what your plan was to end the pandemic and your only response seems to be "Democrats bad". What's the point of complaining if you don't care to come up with a solution? Suppose Republicans win everything in the next elections....then what? You will still have thousands of people dying per day. What's your solution?
1
@jackgoff6043 So your ONLY recommendation decreasing the numer of deaths from a virus that has been spreading throughout America for 2 YEARS is closing the southern border..... Nice job there. Really using those critical thinking skills.
1
@jackgoff6043 I know right. Democrats are so annoying actually looking for solutions. All we get is complaints from the other side for trying to solve a problem. Then they have the nerve to complain about the number of deaths. Not to mention that the other side says we want the virus to stick around while they do nothing to help get rid of it. So many contradictions
1
@jackgoff6043 Correction. You have been dismissed. I had to point out your hypocrisy and your contradictions. When I asked a follow up question you couldn't answer, you responded by lashing out and insulting me and all Democrats and by calling us names. Like a child in school.
