"Addiction is a sickness, not a crime." Isn't that what so many Republicans say when THEY are the victims of drug addiction? So eager to offer help to opiod addicts, conservatives call it an "epidemic" instead of a crime wave. So eager to offer money and pass new laws to help people get treatment. But when it involves your political foes or black people, suddenly drug addiction is a crime. Law and order is in style only when it doesn't affect YOU.

If Hutchinson was there in the room when people said it, it is NOT hearsay. Hearsay is secondhand testimony. What Hutchinson gave is first hand direct testimony. Look it up. Liberals get mad when you tell them a lie. Conservatives get mad when you tell them the truth.

Conservatives are never going to think that being held responsible for crime is fair. Trump and his supporters committed crime in pursuit of power. And now it seems like things are getting pretty bad for them.

@youngyeller First of all, which court house were actually burned down? I could be mistaken but I don't recall any courthouses being burned down. Second, where is your actual proof that no one got jail time for crimes? I don't mean what you think you know. I mean evidence.

@youngyeller It's not my job to prove that no wrongdoing was committed. You made the accusation that they were let off scott free. In America, the burden of proof is on the accuser. You are the accuser. So you show me proof that rioters that were caught were not charged with crimes. You show me proof, or else it's another conspiracy theory. Another assumption or belief with no evidence.

Republicans said at the time that he was a well qualified candidate amd an honorable man. But they were more interested in stealing the Supreme Court. So you applaud the disrespect Republicans showed to this man, but get mad when he gets a new job and lays down the law on those who tried to steal the election.
