@erniellerena So you are making the point that our doctors are doing a good job saving sick people. That's great! Yet, we don't seem to be able to get the rate of infection under control...the whole root of the problem. What good does it do to keep "a higher proportion" of sick people from dying if you give up on keeping people from getting sick in the first place? Overall we still have many, many, MANY times the number of people dying....even accounting for our larger population.

We actually have more death compared to other countries. For every 1 million people we have about 150 people dying....per day. In other developed countries their death rate is 1/10th what ours it. The is no evidence that protests spread the virus more than usual. Remember, they were outdoors and people were wearing masks. Please stop making stuff up. We are doing so bad here because Americans don't like lockdowns. Americans don't like to listen to experts and smart people who spent years in school getting good at what they do. We have become intensely anti-intellectual. Other counties don't deal with the same level of aggressive ignorance. That's why they have less people dying.

@erniellerena But Republicans don't want to blame Trump for that. It must be somebody else's fault. How many Americans died in Benghazi again? 4 How many Americans died of ebola? 2 How long did Republicans complain about Obama for both of these? Years.
