Comments by "Marcus W" (@Mawyou) on "Joe Biden and Donald Trump's fiery first debate—Here are the highlights" video.
Trump did not hand Biden a booming economy. That's literally the opposite of the truth. The economy was struggling because of Covid and it is still struggling because of Covid.
3
Yeah the economy was doing great....until Covid. In case you didn't notice, Covid is still a worldwide problem that hasn't gone away yet. Conservatives went from saying Covid was a hoax to destroy Trump, and that it would magically disappear after the election. But now they are blaming Biden for supply chain issues and rising prices caused by.....Covid. What a surprise!

Yeah it's such a "leftist" thing to do to ask if someone condemns white supremacists. What you mean is you're upset Wallace was being a decent human being and challenged the high school bully. With your way of thinking, I'm questioning if you ever left the high school mentality yourself.
1
Yup. We definitely want someone who supported a coup and can't condemn white supremacists to run for president in 2024.

Compared to the guy who got impeached twice for trying to steal the 2020 election. I'll take incompetent over cruel and corrupt any day.
1
@tacc8227 Trump's first impeachment was not over a dossier. It was over him trying to blackmail Ukraine into announcing an investigation into Joe Biden before the 2020 election. Get your facts straight And his second bipartisan impeachment was for him inciting a riot that broke into Congress and threatened lawmakers and Mike Pence, because he lost the 2020 election. Get your facts straight The cruelty never ends.

@tacc8227 I always find it odd how the people who are always complaining about "fake news" are always the ones misremembering everything
1
@tacc8227 Trump's border policies separating families, he tried to take healthcare from millions just to fulfill a campaign promise, he ended housing programs for low income and minority families, he cut taxes for the richest 1 percent, he started a trade war with China that did not help us AT ALL. He killed the Iran nuclear deal even though it was working. He spread misinformation about Covid. He tried to ban Muslims (as he had promised in his campaign). He increased the national debt by 39 percent! (now Republicans are dishonestly trying to pin the blame on Biden). He reduced renewable energy research. He pardoned numerous friends and allies after they were convicted of crimes while protecting him (textbook corruption). Not to mention his cruelty, dishonest, and calls for violence against his supposed enemies. I could go on and on and on.
1
@tacc8227 You still only addressed half the points I made about Trump.
1
@tacc8227 I'll get to your points after you finish responding to mine. People always trying to change the subject when I press them on something related to Trump
1
@tacc8227 No answer? I didn't think so. Who could vote for someone so cruel to their fellow human beings. A president who purposely tries to hurt people because he likes it. A sociopath. You say I have TDS. Well maybe it's because I don't think we should have a sociopath in the White House. Someone who doesn't care about right and wrong, but only about winning at all costs. Sounds like you got caught up in the sugar high.
1
@tacc8227 Yes. Let the hate flow through you. This is why 1 in 3 Republicans think violence may be needed to "save" the US. Let's hope that cooler heads prevail.

@tacc8227 I don't know who told you that cities were being burned down, but I think whoever told you that might have been overexaggerating a bit. You see, I live in Chicago, the boogeyman of conservatives. And although there were a lot of broken windows the weekend after George Floyd's death, I can assure you the city was not burned down. Not even a single building was burned down. It's just a fact. As a far a me being the emotional one, I suggest you check yourself. There is clearly an overabundance of emotion spilling out of every one of your comments. I know you find it hard to believe that we can give Biden the benefit of the doubt on racial issues (for something he did 30 years ago and had the votes of every single Democrat and Republican). Time heals old wounds, and Biden served as Obama's VP and selected a black VP himself, so that certainly helps. Even if it does look like pandering to you. But let me remind you how Trump became famous in politics: his false attacks on Obama's heritage, and his attack on Mexican immigrants when he first began his campaign. His promise to ban Muslims. I'm sorry but not everyone can just shrug their shoulders and move on.
1
@tacc8227 What city was burned down? And I don't mean one or two stores that were set on fire. Name me some cities that were literally burned to the ground (Great Chicago Fire style). Because I promise you, you are sadly mistaken. Portland....still there. Chicago...still there. New York....still there. L.A....still there. Atlanta....still there. Etc, etc, etc
1
@tacc8227 How is Mississippi fairing under Republican leadership? What are we just randomly naming off bad places to live? Lol. Just changing definitions and moving the goalposts as you go. When you're wrong, just change the subject. And like I said, let the hate flow through you. We want to see those cortisol levels sky high
1
@tacc8227 Yesss. Unleash your anger. Give in to your hate. I am watching you become more radicalized as we speak. More anger. More hate. Soon you will cause violence.
1
@tacc8227 I'm guessing Biden's approval rating is so bad because of Afghanistan. Gotta admit, that turned out pretty bad. Not to mention all the in-fighting within his own party to pass the infrastructure bills. Also the inflation numbers and gas prices are pretty bad, but I wouldn't pin that entirely on him. A lot of that has more to do with Covid and supply chain issues. But things could certainly be better.
1
@tacc8227 Congrats on winning Virginia though. I hope Glenn Younkin does well

What exactly is Biden supposed to do at the southern border? Most people are being turned back, and those seeking asylum are being processed like normal. If you don't have a better idea, stop complaining.
1
@garethbuckeridge6910 Sorry I should have been more specific. What's a solution that most Americans can get behind? I'm sure you already know this, but most Americans do not want a medieval wall separating us from Latin America. Is it REALLY that hard for you to comprehend how that can be seen as racist 🤔. A freaking 2000 mile wall to keep the brown people out
1
@garethbuckeridge6910 People in Michigan are concerned about the southern border. Wow Okay, so to support your wall, you're giving me more examples of people building walls to keep black and brown people out. But yeah...not racist Besides, most people coming across are already being turned back by border patrol. The only people being let in are people seeking legal asylum. What more would a wall do Edit: people seeking asylum are not even being let in until their application is processed. So....
1
@garethbuckeridge6910 -- "Not racist" conservative is concerned that Latinos now exist across the country and assumes that most of them came here illegally-- You say things that are blatantly bigoted but then play the victim by saying I'm just "playing the race card". You damn right I am. How about you take some personal responsibility for your outdated beliefs
1
@garethbuckeridge6910 I'm sorry but what does any of that have to do with the southern border and your ignorant beliefs about Latinos in America?
1
@garethbuckeridge6910 Latinos make up 20% of the entire US population and you act like they are some foreign specimen from a distant land. Like I said. Outdated. Your fear of Latinos is just as illogical as when I meet black people who fear all white people. Sounds like you need a Hispanic friend or two to loosen you up.
1
@garethbuckeridge6910 Ahh, I see. Well that's understandable, you like the familiarity of your own culture. But you must understand how people who are more open to multiculturalism can mistake that for bigotry. Then you vote for a president who struggles to condemn white supremacists but always finds the strongest words to criticize minorities. I'm sure you can see how that can come across in a negative sense.
