@klamsauce233 Millions of companies were founded by racists. So what. That's America. Abortion is still VOLUNTARY. As I told another commenter, as a black man I'd be okay with having a slightly lower black population if it means people aren't having kids they shouldn't be having. It's not a "benefit" to the black community when someone young and broke has kids they can't afford and don't know how to raise. All it does is continue the cycle, and I'm tired of us black people being at the top of all the wrong lists. Having kids when you are not ready is one of the biggest causes of poverty. Then you have kids growing up in poverty through no fault of their own. Let these people have their damn abortion if they need it.

@RealKlausSchwab Equating aborting a fetus to killing is a point of view. An opinion. A fetus has no thought processes or self-awareness. There is literally no fear or suffering. It is not viable outside the woman's body. On the other hand, forcing a woman to have a kid she doesn't know how to raise (or cannot afford) harms both her future and will likely have a long-term negative effect on the child. Having children before you are ready is one of the biggest predictors of poverty. And that child (through no fault of their own) will most likely spend their whole life trying to "catch up" to the other kids. Also, most women who have an abortion are not "excited" to have an abortion. They are doing it to keep their life on track. Why do you feel the need to butt in??

@drmartin5062 Okay then, Mr. Smart Guy. If it's only for future spending, tell me what happens if we don't spend any money from now until the deadline and Congress doesn't raise the debt ceiling? Your answer will tell me how informed you are on the issues.
1
@drmartin5062 As spelled out by Jaime Daimon, CEO of JPMorgan Chase, the debt ceiling is a limit on how much we can borrow to pay our CURRENT BILLS. Since we must pay our bills no matter what, the debt ceiling serves absolutely no purpose other than to hold the economy hostage so you can hurt the party in power. If you want less debt, you either raise taxes or decrease spending. You don't just refuse to take out debt when you need that money to pay your current bills. We wouldn't be in this debt situation if Donald Trump hadn't massively cut taxes AND increased spending BEFORE Covid hit. Being responsible for 1/3 of all the debt is one of his many "gifts" to America. In only 4 years! But now Republicans are suddenly "shocked" about the uncontrolled debt that they caused. Just because they're not in power. Totally unacceptable.

@Biden_for_prison I love seeing Republicans get so frustrated that we chose Joe Biden even though he's done some racist things in the past. Conservatives struggle so much to understand racial dynamics. While Biden may have said or done things that were anti-black, it's the consistency of the anti-black behavior coming out of the Republican Party that makes the difference. (I don't mean what you consider anti-black. I mean what black people consider anti-black). Democrats want to give black people a helping hand out of the economic hole racists put them in. Republicans want black people to climb out of the hole on their own (they think helping black people to equality is "reverse racism" --- not a good way to win black voters)

@drmartin5062 No, I don't blame Trump for Afghanistan or the border influx. I'm neutral enough in my views to admit when the Biden is in the wrong. Afghanistan was a HUGE blunder and Biden's approval rating has taken a HUGE hit for it. But I'm not just going to call the polls "fake news". Where you are mistaken however is when you say that what Biden wants to do is unpopular. When you ask people about all the individual policies in Biden's spending bill, it has a support of about 80 percent (look it up yourself if you don't believe me). It's only when you tell them it's part of "Biden's spending bill" that Republicans remember they are supposed to be against it. It was the exact same with Obamacare. Everyone loved it's individual pieces. But once you told them it was "Obamacare", Republican suddenly remembered that they were supposed to be against it. It's crazy town out there.
1
@drmartin5062 I didn't blame Trump because the economy shut down. That happened worldwide because hospitals were filling up (duh). I blamed Trump because he blew up the debt unnecessarily when times were good, then he had to bail out the economy when when we were already deep in a hole. Nearly every economist out there said that Trump's tax cuts were a BAD IDEA when the economy was already doing fine. But he just had to help out his rich friends. Now Republicans have the nerve to blame Biden, who has only been in office nine months, for Trump causing 1/3 of all the national debt. Totally unacceptable!
1
@drmartin5062 And to make matters worse, most Republican voters are completely fine with that nonsense, that Republicans are allowed to run up the credit card, but Democrats must only focus on cleaning up the debt. Republicans did the EXACT same thing to Obama after Bush ran up the credit card leading up to his recession. Totally unacceptable.

It's because: When have you ever (EVER) seen a tough compromise made in front of the camera? It's hard enough to give things up and compromise behind closed doors, let alone in in front of the damn camera where you're judged for everything that comes out of your mouth--as happened here. Also, Trump wants to PUNISH immigrants and build a towering wall from sea to shining sea. It won't work, and it's a sign of divisiveness that will just be knocked down by a future administration like an old Civil War relic. Finally, Obama was not a full-blown racist and was simply intent on carrying out the law, not intent on punishing and rooting out "dangerous, drug infested criminal aliens" who just came here looking for a better life.

@daniel5725 Fascism: A racial heirarchy is enforced in society. Strict obedience is enforced. Open mindedness is punished. A strong leader with a cult following. Cruelty is rewarded. That is fascism.
1
@franklin9400 It will hurt the MAGA movement because they need a place with credibility to spend their views. Fox has permanently destroyed their reputation by allowing all these texts, emails, and recordings to come out. A "news" network with a business model of lying to increase views.
1
@originalgameronline3457 Tucker Carlson is largely responible for a coup attemp. Deliberately lying about voter fraud then mocking the lies behind closed doors.
1
@originalgameronline3457 Since you need me to spell it out to you, Tucker lied about the election and spread conspiracy theories. He got conservatives all angry and fired up. A bunch of them attacked the Capitol thinking that they could somehow, someway stop Biden from being inaugurated. It failed. But it was all based on a lie that Tucker spread to keep his ratings high.
1
@originalgameronline3457 It wasn't just Tucker. It was ALL the conservative influencers. Fox New, Newsmax, Youtubers, Podcasters. ALL of them. Tucker just has the highest profile. But all of them lied about the election for clicks, ratings, and profit. Spreading bogus rumors about "irregularities" in the election. And you believed it. But don't worry. There are millions of other gullible Americans who fell for it too. You all WANTED to hear the lies on a deep emotional level. Some of you even attacked the Capitol based on those lies and are in jail now.
1
@freedomandguns3231 Joe actually tried to keep people safe. I remember because Republicans fought back against all of it. Now you forget and say he did nothing. How predictable you want to have it both ways.
1
@JasonDrvmz Republican response: it's crazy people. There's nothing we can do.
1
Because everyone knows they're guilty. We've been hearing about it for almost 3 years. But we need a jury to find them guilty officially so they can serve some hard time for their election-stealing crime spree. 5-year mandatory minimum sentence on the racketeering charges in Georgia.
1
Bet he feels like a little bit of a fool now
1
That's how elections work. Trump flip flopped on womens rights. He says he's now going to fight for women after realizing his past recond on women's rights will likely be devastating for his chances.
1
Was it anti-semitic or anti-Israeli policies. Contrary to what all the people screaming seem to believe, there's actually a difference. We can criticize Russia, we can criticize China, but we're not allowed to criticize Israel because .... it's "anti-semitic"???
1
@TA_Plus_Hemi Hillary mishandled 3 classfied emails in the course of doing her job leading the State Department. Trump stole hundreds of classified documents after he had already been fired. Then obstructed the investigation. I cannot believe these hypocritical Republicans.
1
@harryjove6725 Why do Repunlicans want to be wrong about stuff. Reality is reality. You can't make it up just because it makes you feel good.
1
@harryjove6725 The law does apply equally. Republicans break the law, they get charged. Democrats break the law, they get charged. It's just that there are a lot more Republicans getting prosecuted for lying to law enforcement. Because. Every. Republican. Is. Always. Lying. Party of Jesus, and Law and Order, always doing crime, lies, and sin. Then playing the victim because they have to face adult consequences.
1
@harryjove6725 The law is applied equally. I recently heard about several Democrats getting prosecuted crimes unrelated to this. It's just Republicans think other Republicans and Trump should not be subject to the law while they make stuff up and try to steal presidential elections.
1
@globalevents0 It wasn't superdelagates here. It was only the regular ones. Biden dropped out and endorsed his vice president. Now she is the nominee. There is nothing unusual about that. In fact, this is exactly how one would expect things to go if the president drops out.
1
@shelleyrenee4889 The only ones upset at how Kamala was chosen are Republicans. And their opinion doesn't matter. Because this is the Democratic nomination and 80% of us support VP Harris for the nomination.
1
@globalevents0 You want me to name another time a VP ran to replace the president they served under? I believe it's been done 23 times already since the nation's founding. Also, why are Republicans the only ones upset we didn't have a big fight for the nomination? Biden endorsed her and our party loves that she's running.
1
@globalevents0 LOL, you're funny. I don't need to prove to trolls that a couple dozen Vice Presidents have run for president in our 250 year history. You have internet access and can quite easily verify this yourself. Then you don't have to rely on my word!!
1
@globalevents0 You are really stretching. And really frustrated. Why is it mainly Republicans that are so mad we quickly united around VP Harris? You can try to deny it, but you're upset for a reason. I think it's fear. If you want, you can switch your candidate too.
1
Better than having a white supremacist like the last guy. There's a reason the crowd at Trump's rallies and the mob at the Capitol are all 95 percent white. As much as Republicans try to act like they "don't see color."
1
Well he did vote to convict Trump both times he got impeached.

@LazyGrayF0x Is the current one-state solution working?
