@loosecannonball7926 You're absolutely right its propaganda. Those "ballots" found in the trash were not even real ballots. That was debunked weeks ago. It is just baffling how you will not be convinced when every single case has been tossed out of court, many of them tossed by judges appointed by Trump himself. It just defies logic. When Trump's lawyers go to court they say under oath that this is not about fraud. Because they would go to jail or lose their law license for lying to a judge about fraud. They rattle on about people's claims of "irregularities." And the judge shakes his head and immediately throws out the case every single time. But hey, you've got a whole media ecosystem that makes money telling you what you want to hear....that Trump didn't actually lose.
9
And to think he and Trump were the top two contenders in 2016. Republicans really have a thing for dangerous, toxic people.
8
@loosecannonball7926 Yes, a sociopath. I will not waste my time explaining. You know he is crazy just like the rest of the world. You just don't care. In fact, you probably like a little crazy. Turns out, most people don't like so much crazy. So they voted for Biden. Doesn't matter what media you blame. Most people do not and have never liked Donald Trump. I'm sorry you can't understand that, especially when he lost the first election by 3 million votes to Hillary Clinton of all people.
8
@loosecannonball7926 Trump knows the election wasnt rigged. He's just doing this to get money from his followers. He's already made $200 million since election day without proving a single case of fraud. Trump is devious. Making all that money off a failed cause.
7
@loosecannonball7926 My friend, you have a problem. Stop fighting a losing battle with facts. I realize deep inside you NEED an excuse for why Trump lost the election. You gave your soul and all your heart to him. But there was no fraud. It seems like you don't realize that most people just don't like Donald Trump. The truth is Trump spoiled you. You think he should get elected even when he's lost by 7 million votes, just because he got in when he lost by 3 million votes last time. Such a strange way of thinking.
7
Sacrilegious boi
7
Aside from when he was criminally charged with defrauding thousands of Trump supporters by pocketing donations he said was going towards building a wall. Of Trump went on to pardon him just before leaving office. No one to pardon him now.
7
@loosecannonball7926 The people who were reporting voter fraud were mistaken....according to the 50-plus court cases Republicans have lost trying to reverse the election.
6
@loosecannonball7926 Like I said. You need an excuse. People can't just dislike Trump because he's a sociopath. It must be someone else's fault they feel that way. It must be the MSM. You honestly can't comprehend how millions of people would prefer a boring president who doesn't crave attention and chaos. Lol.
6
@putler965 There are a lot less Democrats with conspiracy theories. A lot less. I think it has to do with the trust in science/reason vs. trust in faith/religion
6
@APheonixPretense8 A republic is just a democracy where we vote for other people to represent us in the government.
5
@jcspider7259 For Republicans, it's all about short term gain and pleasing the base. It worked out for them for 4 years. Hopefully they will be forced to pay.
5
@PuppiesRcute If you can play it slowly, you can play it fast 😉
5
It's a sign of maturity. Teenage boys care about looks... because biology. But as you get older and have more experience in the world, get more socialized (and when those stubborn homones stabilize), guys should begin to see more than just looks.
4
@nahnotforme9819 But you already know what your personal doctor is going to say if you ask him. He's a freaking doctor after all. He will recommend that you take it, then you will proceed to not take his advice
3
@Robert Burger Patriots huh. I bet your definition of patriot includes all those people in prison for storming the Capitol as they chased their conspiracy theories. Patriot is the most overused and misapplied word in America. Right wing terrorists always call themselves patriots before they get the death sentence for their hate crimes.
2
@moleo9485 Now they only care about the second amendment and freedom of speech to say bigoted stuff. Everything else is disposable to them.
2
A M Like I said, Republicans don't like democracy because they can't convince a majority of people to vote for their policies.
2
@DjNaste Would you prefer to call her Afro-American? Seeing as she is descended from those of the African continent. And she is treated in America just like those from the African continent.
2
Well seeing as he provoked a terrorist attack on his way out the door to try to stay in power. Surprised you're so eager to forget about it. Pretty sure Republicans can't get over Trump either. A year after the election and they are still looking for nonexistent voter fraud so they can try to reinstall him as president.
2
@user-fp6rn2km4i I think you will find that the majority of people who don't think it's right to force people to take it.....are mainly the people who haven't taken it take it (and politicians who think it helps them politically to take that stance). But from a logical public health perspective (which is one of the main responsibilities of a government) it is perfectly reasonable to force people to vaccinate against a contagious disease. We did it with measles! If this was some kind of airborne Ebola, I don't think mandates would be controversial at all. But because everyone thinks they will be okay (obviously not the case) the "you can't take away my right to stay unprotected" politics takes over. I encourage you to consider how overworked ER doctors feel about vaccine mandates (vs your freedom to choose).
2
@mattfrue2698 I didn't realize so many anti-vax people watched the Daily Show. Seems counterintuitive since he is going to make fun of you. Only 28 percent of the adult population still hasn't been vaccinated. But they will gladly take a non-FDA approved experimental drug like Regeneron to help them out in the hospital. Please help me understand the logic behind that 😣
2
@mattfrue2698 Ahh, so now it comes out. It's more about "freedom" from being told what to do. All the other "medical arguments" were just excuses for you to go against the grain. Just like "we have to wait for FDA approval". Oh well. No one ever said we needed 100% vaxed. Most people who said they would NEVER get it are now open to getting it. People saying "never" is down to 15 percent and dropping. 85 percent of the population vaccinated should be more than sufficient to return us to normal life AKA true freedom.
2
@mattfrue2698 Just an FYI, it's only a mic drop moment when the majority of people agree with you. But they don't. Like I said, I have no problem being a sheep if it's logical. Kind of like how most people were taught not to walk out into highway traffic. Guess that makes us all farm animals. But if you "think for yourself" I guess you could try dodging the cars and pat yourself on the back if you survive. Freedom!! But what was the point? Just to push back against authority. Yay, now you're a real man. Smart people can't tell you what to do.
2
@mattfrue2698 I didn't give up my freedom. I was excited to get the shot. For one, I like science. And two, I had a family member die from Covid before the vaccine was available. So I scheduled an appointment as soon as it was available for my age group. So you can probably imagine I was a little frustrated when we had to shut down again at the end of the summer because thousands "healthy" people kept filling up hospitals when they found out their immune systems were losing to the Delta variant. To me, freedom means not having to alter my behavior because of other people's bad judgment. Why must we continue to live with Covid 24/7 just to make 1/4 of the population comfortable?
2
So what you mean is extremists pushing unpopular ideas like banning abortion and who don't compromise. That's exactly what scares a lot of Americans about Republicans.
1
A M Of course Republicans hate democracy. They haven't won the popular vote in the last 8 elections (almost 30 years). So they need to make up arguments of fraud and "irregularities" so they can make it harder for Democrats to vote. They blow up norms so they can stack the courts with right-wing judges. They gerrymander to pick their voters. Basically the minority gets to rule the majority. This is why we need more than two parties. The two party system is extremely unhealthy. One party's gain is the other party's loss.
1
Repuicans call everything they don't like socialism.
1
Sooooo you're standing with the bad guy because he was treated poorly for being a bad person. I'm afraid I don't follow your logic.
1
With the eyebrows -- "BIGLY"
1
I wonder what made him change his mind 🤷🏽♂️
1
@putler965 And that may be true that some liberals believe those things. But the prevalence of conspiracy theorists among liberals is much, MUCH lower. That is simply an inarguable fact. Study after study after study after study after study has shown this. And beyond the numerous scientific studies, I don't think I've ever had a political conversation with a conservative who didn't bring up multiple conspiracy theories to explain their reasoning or their vote. EVER. Usually something to do with the Clintons or Obama, or the 2020 election, or Benghazi, or the "deep state" .... etc. The list could easily go on for pages. You're clearly an intelligent guy, so I'm sure you'll agree that we have to be very careful not to engage in false equivalence just win an argument.
1
@putler965 Again, you are engaging in false equivalence. If "many" (your words) liberals believe in conspiracy theories, but almost ALL conservatives believe in conspiracy theories, it is not a "both sides" problem. 70 percent of conservatives think the 2020 election was "stolen." 70 PERCENT. And let's not forget how frequently right wing conspiracy theories lead to violence (replacement theory, q-anon, election denialism). If you want the "both sides" thing to be true so badly, go watch Fox News. Thanks to the defamation suit, we now know for a fact that they will tell you what you want to hear, even when they know it's not true. I recommend Tucker Carlson or Hannity.
1
@putler965 Again, you are correct that there are conspiracy theorists on the right and the left. But your brain seems to tune out the idea of frequency. Find me a conspiracy theory that 70 percent of liberals believe in. Doesn't exist. Find me a liberal conspiracy that caused thousands to attack their own government. It doesn't exist.
1
@marymcnabb4982 Jimmy Carter gets a bad rap because he had to deal with high inflation and because Iran happened to take Americans diplomats hostage during the revolution while he was president. Its not that he did anything wrong per se. Most historians would probably say he just had a severe case of bad luck leading to his loss for reelection. Kind of like how Trump got unlucky with Covid (although he probabaly would have been fine had he handled it more responsibly).
1
They will come if and when Joe Biden defies a subpoena like Trump and lies to them about what he still has. Probabaly won't happen though since Biden already voluntarily allowed them to search every room in his both his houses.
1
@urmother1212 I think the point you're making is just like what Tomi Lahren is saying. There is no "acceptable" way for black people to protest police killing them at 3x the rate of white people... while unarmed. There is no acceptable way they you will you would like to see them protesting because you simply don't care. You said it yourself that you don't agree with what they're fighting for. So you simply don't care. That's why you think kneeling is funny.
1
@user-fp6rn2km4i You could also say that the vaccine is an economic problem. - How much do businesses lose when one of their employees has to take 2 weeks after they tested positive? Or when everyone sho had contact with that person has to quarantine? - How much money does it cost a business's bottom line for every employee who has to take a month or two off after getting hospitalized? - How much does it hurt a company's productivity when an employee can't walk up a flight of stairs because Covid damaged their lungs? How much does it disrupt a university every time there is an outbreak? Much easier to just mandate the vaccine, especially when they now know that when push comes to shove, 90-95 percent will comply rather than lose their job or get kicked out of school.
1
@user-fp6rn2km4i Well I'm not one to root for bad things to happen to people, but what else can they do besides fire them or put them on unpaid leave? It wouldn't really be a mandate if there were no consequences for not complying 🤷🏾♂️. I can't imagine that most people would be willing to lose their source of income just because they heard one too many conspiracy theories from friends or social media about the vaccine being "too risky." But that's just my logic, I can't speak for other people. I got my shot more than 6 months ago as soon as it was available, even though I already had Covid back in 2020.
1
@mattfrue2698 Well now you HAVE heard of Regeneron. If you want more information, you're already on the internet 🙃
1
@mattfrue2698 So I'm the sheep. But you purposely avoid information you don't want to see. Seems sheep-like. And a great way to stay up-to-date on relevant information 👍
1
@mattfrue2698 Funny because those are some of the long term effects of Covid. In addition to the obvious lung scarring. Why are you proving my point for me?
1
@mattfrue2698 Tell me one vaccine EVER where the side effects didn't show up until more than a year later. It has NEVER happened in the history of medicine. You fears are overblown. Of course you would know this if you actually "asked questions" and "did your research".
1
@mattfrue2698 Yes, I generally am afraid of ending up in the hospital. Or getting my friends and family sick. Is that bad?? And to be frank, the ingredients list is quite easy to find online. Pretty easy to see what's in it. But my guess is you're probably not interested
1
@mattfrue2698 My jab is pretty safe. But like I said, you can look up the ingredients. You're a smart guy!
1
@mattfrue2698 It's funny how you think I'm offended by the whole sheep thing. I don't mind following the crowd if It's common sense. In fact I'm sitting here thinking you've lost your mind for prioritizing freedom to stay unprotected over public health.
