I was under the impression that Indian ceos/techies/tech gurus/IT experts are very smart and capable but the only thing that they are capable of is curry favor and their resourcefulness to hire many cyber dalits (cheap labor) from India because they have the Indian connection. None of them could make a Chinese TicTok or a Chinese DeepSeek AI. Indeed, they were overhyped, overpaid and over-rated.

There is a common saying in Asia that say, "if you see an Indian and a snake, (insert censored word) the Indian first". One that rises up to the top as CEO through 1) merit with tangible and significant contributions to their company, 2) curry favor skills 3) geopolitics (diversity hire).
