Indian medias and Indian politicians were enraged and were extremely unhappy. I remembered Shashi Tharoor said "it is not the fact of the deportation but the manner of the deportation that we are protesting". Fast forward to 14 Feb 2025, when a reporter brought out the topic about deportation and asked Modi for his opinion, Modi made no mention about the chains and handcuffs and neither did he protest. Fast forward to 15 Feb 2025, the second batch of deportess numbering 117 arrived, followed by the third batch of 157 deportees one day later in Amritsar. The manner which they are deported is still the same. All of them were chained and handcuffed. Understand that the time for India hasn't come, it's a low income country that is equipped with a global hunger index ranking that rivals the poorest of the poor, and its GDP per capita is at least 5 to 6 times lesser than China despite having almost the same population as China. Forget about AI tech, where only the 2 massive superpowers USA and China play, and worry about keeping your people fed because 800 million Indians still depend on their government for food aid/rations. India does not qualify to be in the same AI race with either China or USA and neither they are the future but their medias continue to paint a extremely ambitious and far fetched image that India is rising and will be the next superpower.. 🤭😏🥱
