  1. the US did try to create something similar to NATO in Asia area to counter China. The US willing to give $150 million yearly to the member but if divide between ASEAN countries then each country get $15 million per country. you cant even purchase 1 freaking tank with this money while China offer $2 billion plan that don't apply any commitment on military at all but just get with the high speed train trade and do business. It no brainer which one is better deal.

  2.  Mohamed Nazer  I would call China more of merchant then builder. However when do business with them, be really careful on the contract paper and push back when they don’t follow some small detail in the deal.
