  1. US force been pull out from Middle East and increase their present in the Pacific. It would be silly to think that Russia would leave their flank open. NATO increase their Navy fleet near Sweden area, Russia pull 3 ship from pacific to increase their ship in the similar area. This is not mistake, this is matching military force for stand off.

  2.  @laryxislust6664  the Russia government offer to give back 2 island for peace treaty that not yet been sign by Japan but Japan want all 4 island since it is the best water for seafood king crab and many expensive marine resources. Russia said no and Japan said no so now all 4 island still belong to Russia and now Russia see the profit in these water. They will protect this new hub for sure. I was expecting that eventually Russia and Japan would come to agreement of half half of those island but since Japan is so out right to oppose Russia. Maybe Russia would just say whatever deal is off but the Russian ambassador did said that negotiations still open.
