If I don't grasp the concept then please do enlighten me. If I purchase a vehicle like Rolls Royce or Bugatti, I expect it to perform better than the normal standard vehicle hence the high price tag. In other words, in such a monetary system, gold backs the value of money. Japan use silver but in these day and age other resource can be use to trade as well. you can laugh all you want but I just talking about simply basic logic of money system and demand and supply.

Singapore don't have resource whatsoever so their best bet is to reserve gold bar and they had. Huge load of gold vault is in Singapore to backup their currency in case of anything unexpected. you don't know that much about this topic then don't try to look down on this method, there is benefit in back up of this system then just cash alone.

  53. How can the personnel listen to the command properly when many of them is not even trained yet? some of them just civilian given weapons. Even the US police officers get jump and shoot civilians every day because the street is dangerous in some neighborhoods but this is war zone, it will get them even jumpier this word even exist.

The last thing that the military want is another M16A1 problem like in Vietnam. I am always on the side of never underestimate the enemy mindset, it might be as bad as many people claim them to be or it might not. Same like world war 2, the German MG series machine gun, the US army told their soldier that the sound hurt more then it bite but it turn out really different when coming up against one.
