When Russia Federation start SMO but then quickly turn into actual war. Russia army been fighting this war in term of attrition war instead of big arrow pushing. And Russia military is really good at inviting Ukrainian army to attack. Kharkiv attack, how many Ukrainian soldier die in that great counter offensive? Kherson counter offensive, how many casualties rate? You only need to check the estimate casualties of this war per mission to see what Russia army is doing, bleeding Ukrainian army of troops and bleeding NATO of resources, equipment and money. Ukraine need victory so much that they be willing to send so much of their soldier to die for it, and Russia seem like they baiting Ukrainian soldier in with notion of victory. That why they leave so many road open for Ukrainian army to come in. ( at least this is my opinion any way )

Ukraine send their best and all the equipment into Kursk to do as much damage as possible but if it stay as game of chicken then there won’t be any eastern front contact line left. What if these eastern line of Ukraine collapse and Russia going for Odessa ? Ukraine can’t rotate these Kursk troops to protect it now. 😅

This keeping and storing of armor and equipment of Ukraine is like chicken and egg. If they don’t use it now then they can’t fight the Russian advance and if they storing the equipment in larger number, there a chance that heavy strike on those equipment might happen.

it enough for people to keep saying thing to make the Russian soldier look bad like it took them 7 month to take this one town but those people never once think for a second that for each day that they keep this town, they sacrifice soldier life, people that been force and more. Russia federation start using cluster bomb as well. When the US gave JDAM bomb to Ukraine army and use it in Bhukmut, Russia take a look at it concept then they create FAB into their own version of JDAM. Since this war start, did you see the amount of capture equipment from NATO that Russia obtain ? It likes shopping list. It like Russia is pushing Ukraine just enough for Zelensky to get the new wonder weapons then 2 week later it stop being effective. Remember when Nlaw and Javelin is like the wonder weapon that will save Ukraine ? Russia capture so many of them that they gave it to the soldier to be use right away in the battlefield, and the Russian soldier even give the feedback review to nato saying that Nlaw is better. 😅 this war is strange as hell.

Think of this further please. If Russia take over this city then it is Russia responsibility to take care of the people in these area by laws. If Russia did not take Kiev then it not their responsibility yet. And when Ukraine literally run out of their entire army. They can easily walk in.

Not if the flanker fail to do their task. What if the flanking fail and Bakhmut also get capture? What would Ukraine going to do now? Assault Bakhmut to recapture it?

If you armor assault well defend position and did not lose any armor unit at all. The opponent should ask themselves if this is still a war or one side slaughter. Losing of armor is really normal but the question is how to reduce the lost.

According to pro Ukraine, they believe the death of the Ukraine soldier on this village is nothing to worry about and is worth the invest. On what kind of mind set is losing your troops for absolutely settlement that have no strategic value whatsoever is worth investing so much of their soldier lives and equipment is worth investing is beyond me.

G7 is not doing as BRICS at the moment. it all come down to production and resource. the easy indicator would the ISS space station. You need to think in term of military objectives instead of the land capture mean winning. Ukraine need a win so much in order for Nato to double or triple down. There no other best bet then the notion of giving the enemy false hope that they are winning. So the more Ukraine force they invest now is fewer force that Russia army need to deal with when the second attack plan come into action. War is nasty business and full of lies, the situation could be change by the hour if not minute.

The Ukraine used to have strong defensive line and city stronghold. I suppose this is why Russia army take their time clearing these area slowly while grinding the defender down.

I though that the Finnish won the war with their famous white death sniper and thier brave soldier. in any caseit in 1939 and today army is much worst to fight then back in the day. If you have any website that so I can read it beside the western textbook that I read. I would like to hear this story from Russia side as wel.

@ruuki289 that in 1939, what about today? you can't really hide like before when there is thermal camera tracking you from the tank, drone and other stuff. I know great white death is and brave Finnish soldier but today even in Ukraine, the famous Canadian sniper almost turn into mince meat to upgrade T-72. not to mention the kamikaze drone and FAB in all size.

@ravenwinter2474 Raven. as you can see that artillery going hand in hand with Kamikaze drone and to protect this phalanx of death, they need to maintain air control so that mean no Ukraine jets or bomber is allow to fly around as well. As Ukraine soldier push in deeper, the more rate of fire from artillery they will be receiving and as they come closer, the accuracy of artillery become more accurate as well. Such is war.
