  1. We built our home and moved in during the summer of 1989. The value of our home has gone up 4 times what we paid to have it built. Our taxes have gone up a good amount as our homeowners insurance each year. Only if you file a claim for damages from anything that claim likely will be denied by the Insurance company and they likely will drop you from their coverage. I feel for people trying to buy a home these days and anytime in the near future. Everything is stacked against you. Shalom
