  4. I was not a fan of his politics, but I respected Pres. Carter because he was a honorable man and and US naval officer. I joined the US navy in 1977 under Pres. Carter. What he lacked in leadership as president he made up 100 fold after being president. Pres. Carter's accomplishments after his term are off the charts remarkable. RIP Sir. Shalom
