National introduced the brightside test. It is good to hear this MP acknowledged action by labour slowed the house market at the upper level. Recall in 1973, labour introduced the property speculation tax. It slowed things, but National removed it in 1975.

I recall National talking about reviewing the government spending over the last 12 to 18 months. What are the specifics of this review?

If the new duties and taxes fall short of expectations and the fact will stop other taxes ( designed save for Auckland's spending needs ( recall National stopped the Auckland Habour bridge toll, it would have funded so must since 1979) ) . It clearly they will borrow!

All people work hard for their wages. Cleaners , plumbers , salespeople. Each put in a lot of effort to get ahead.

What happens when interest rates fall? Why not introduce an interest rebate? Muldoon National Government did this.

During this interview she said the China wouldn't have an issue but on Monday 4 September, the Chinese Embassy raised a question about what released in their documents.

National should have never advocated income tax changes. It should focus on reducing government spending ( wasted spending ) and use savings to reduce debt ( + interest cost) and top up the super fund. Opps almost forgot . Improve health services to the piont were private providers have low customer. numbers. This would make them different to Act and NZ First.
2
External advice from Gary's Economics suggest the money given to business during covid 19 should be paid to the government and so will reduce government debt ( + interest costs) .
2
She uses Foreigner Buyers Charge not Tax now. Who would collect payment? What act of parliament would be amended?

I just watched a video in 1975. It was about Oz kids coming to hitchhike around work at Cafes etc. They could travel by for $2 a day. Airfares were $70 from oz. What party can return us to those days ? Recall 1970 free Uni, affordability of homes.
2
How does the debt based economy affect things now compared to 1970 when we had free Uni and no GST but sales tax on limited goods and higher tax rates. Poeple need to think back sometimes.
2
What about houses like Christine Fletcher ( ex mayor/MP) in the Epsom seat?

Save our coast!

How much NZ government debt is from overseas?

I noticed the other day N Willis was wearing very high heels. What is her height compared to Ruth Richardson?
1
True. Recall Paul Goldsmith and National last time.

You see, she is learning about stuff. The education spokes person has said she is not an expert and draws on advice often and considers things.

If GST was imposed on exports? What income would governments get? Imports have GST applied and paid to Customs Dept. Currently exports are zero rated, although businesses can claim an input credit for the GST it paid in creating the good or service. The export GST rate could be 5%. What revenue would this create?

I just saw a clip that quoted Barfoot and Thompson questioning this 15% tax /duty. How certain is amount? GST is affected by spending habbits why not this?
1
Do NZ first and Act think the 15% tax on houses bought is ok?
1
Why did the expert not think about double tax agreements? The interview named his expert but the MP would not name their experts which ok.

Clearly, it is not possible to cover all loopholes.

In 1975 . I saw of oz youth coming to nz to backpack, hitchhike, work etc. Airfares were 70.00 and living was $2 @ day. NZ First says. Let's take back NZ . In 1970 Uni was free. No GST. Targeted sales taxes and income tax rates were higher. Who knows, what the best thing is.

@Jon.Morimoto If history is not passed down generations then personal experiences of the effects governments is lost.

What extra spending will go to protect Auckland Harbour and wildlife?
1
Will the reintroduction of regional duty on petrol in Auckland reduce the money supply and so dampen inflation pressure?

This is a peroid in the electrolal cycle were non-government parties ideas are not viewed as words only. So, they need to be able to explain in detail.
