  1. Many businesses in the world have unlimited sick leave. But it is to way trust situation. I worked for a place for 30 years. We got 9 sick days a year and could accumulate up to 70 days. During those 30 years, I took most days off to look after my child when I got flu or similar bugs. I am healthy. By the end of 30 years, I had an unused balance of 20 days, I think. Others had greater needs than me. But if you average it out, it is about the same as the individual entitlement.

  2. Given this situation for sick leave, parental leave, domestic leave, annual holiday leave. Should the USA adopt some of the ideas from Europe, New Zealand, and Australia .
