  1. At one time the department of social security existed. It changed it name the social welfare department, the NZ income support , then department of social welfare. So using a name or change it is often not needed.

  5.  @erina4586  Translation may have worked. The Department of Social security mean alot but was changed a number of times. Income support, Dept of Social Welfare. Social Security had meaning. The system was to provide with security. Income support has different thought in mind as does Social Welfare. Let's go back to Social Security.
