Comments by "D M" (@DM-dk7js) on "Lara Trump torches Biden DOJ: 'Weaponization' of FBI against concerned parents" video.
It truly is disgusting so many parents cannot logically and properly discuss these topics at their school board meetings and have resorted to threats of violence instead.

Harry Potatoes still unacceptable even if it’s “dozens” only. They do not have a right to threaten violence. They can sit down and express themselves with thought civil discussion. That’s the proper method. Not threatening violence.

Ghost 3 Delta probably. Yeah. Violence is violence. Illegal acts are illegal acts. But that’s a bad analogy. The two situations aren’t analogous. So let’s just stick to the actual topic. People threatening teachers with violence is bad. Agreed?

Sounds like a straw man to me. Merick Garland said this: “While spirited debate about policy matters is protected under our Constitution, that protection does not extend to threats of violence or efforts to intimidate individuals based on their views,” he wrote. “Threats against public servants are not only illegal, they run counter to our nation’s core values. Those who dedicate their time and energy to ensuring that our children receive a proper education in a safe environment deserve to be able to do their work without fear for their safety.” If you’ve paid even slight attention to the way these school board meetings are going, you’ll have seen at least a dozen insane people NOT addressing their concerns in the appropriate, civil manner. Quite the opposite.

He didn’t do that. But threats are illegal. So you shouldn’t really have any contention here.

@JimmyG1207 just asking questions you can’t easily answer. Troll or not, you should be able to argue your position better.
2
@JimmyG1207 I’m with Babba. What specifically are you outraged about?
2
Lol so you never paid attention prior to Trump? That explains why so many trumpists lack context.

You still can’t threaten teachers with violence
1
@StopListenThink that doesn’t make any sense.
1
Irrelevant largely tho.
1
He’s right to clamp down on threats against teachers regardless.
1
@yqwgjsg yes. The topic is the fact that parents are threatening teachers, and that’s bad, regardless of who garlands daughter is married too.
1
@hannsharrpy2702 sure. That’s not a threat. Garland is investigating threats. And that’s a good thing.
1
@hannsharrpy2702 good thing that’s not what’s happening. FBI is investigating threats of violence against teachers. Not interfering with state education systems, as you put it.
1
@hannsharrpy2702 they do tho. If you’re saying the FBI can’t investigate threats against teachers, that is absolutely asinine. So again, the FBI investigating threats against teachers is a GOOD thing. I cannot even begin to fathom how someone can disagree with this statement.
1
@hannsharrpy2702 and you haven’t shown evidence of this actually being “the fed interfering with education systems”, which was an obvious straw man fallacy. So you should probably hold yourself to the standard you ask of me. I can think of one threat at a school board meeting recently. Video of a man claiming “there’s some really good people ready to do really bad things if this doesn’t end”. If you haven’t seen the hilarious and scary videos of parents at school board meetings such as the example I just gave, you probably haven’t been paying attention. Regardless, I’m not the FBI. I’m sure they have plenty of credible evidence of threats, as I’ve seen plenty myself just seeing video such as the example I gave. Either way tho, threats against teachers is bad and I cannot fathom how anyone can disagree with such a statement. You cannot make violent threats against teachers. That’s obviously illegal. And you should have no problem with the fbi attempting to keep teachers safe.
1
@hannsharrpy2702 no. Threatening violence against teachers is bad, illegal. That’s what I said. I said so very clearly and repeatedly.
1
@hannsharrpy2702 they’re not “concerned parents”. They’re people threatening teachers with violence. Those are the people being investigated. And that’s a good thing I cannot fathom how someone could disagree.

Joey Kasten what?
