Merick Garland said this: “While spirited debate about policy matters is protected under our Constitution, that protection does not extend to threats of violence or efforts to intimidate individuals based on their views,” he wrote. “Threats against public servants are not only illegal, they run counter to our nation’s core values. Those who dedicate their time and energy to ensuring that our children receive a proper education in a safe environment deserve to be able to do their work without fear for their safety.” If you’ve paid even slight attention to the way these school board meetings are going, you’ll have seen at least a dozen insane people NOT addressing their concerns in the appropriate, civil manner. Quite the opposite.

So you should probably hold yourself to the standard you ask of me. I can think of one threat at a school board meeting recently. Video of a man claiming “there’s some really good people ready to do really bad things if this doesn’t end”. If you haven’t seen the hilarious and scary videos of parents at school board meetings such as the example I just gave, you probably haven’t been paying attention. Regardless, I’m not the FBI. I’m sure they have plenty of credible evidence of threats, as I’ve seen plenty myself just seeing video such as the example I gave. Either way tho, threats against teachers is bad and I cannot fathom how anyone can disagree with such a statement. You cannot make violent threats against teachers. That’s obviously illegal. And you should have no problem with the fbi attempting to keep teachers safe.
