Religion came out of survival instinct in humans, that is now well understood. We now know that a rustle in the grass is not a predator coming to eat us. The laws prescribing death by stoning in your old book are ridiculous. Including death by stoning for touching Mount Sinai, or breaking the Sabbath. Also, animals which accidentally killed a human were to be stoned to death. You couldn't make this sh!t up, if you tried. Phuq your stoning and any reference to it.
