  8.  @theoryofpersonality1420  The problem is that the US has double jeopardy. Thankfully, he was originally found guilty. Which did mean that he did some time in prison. He will be in his eighties now. So there won't be much time to do anything, if substantial new evidence was found.

  16.  @rold000  Double jeopardy is a problem, if you're found innocent of murder, but you're actually guilty. It means that if evidence proving your guilt is later found, you can't be retried. So you can live your life as a free person, even though you committed the murder. This is why it was abolished in the UK.

  29.  @NeCoruption  There were a lot of inconsistencies in his story, and he kept changing it. However, you cannot convict, unless there is no reasonable doubt. Polygraphs are notoriously unreliable, and not admissible as evidence.

  41. @nwyrkmnt It's not a "default" keyboard effect", as you call it. It's the inability to use it correctly. A narcissist is somebody who thinks what they write is more important than others. In this case the overuse of capitals to get their message across. Don't concern yourself with just this user though. There's plenty of others doing the same.

The issue is why are Americans so prudish about using good, old Anglo-Saxon English words?There is the word "arse", which has the same origin, as the German word "arsch". Next, Americans will be calling "toilets", "bathrooms", or even more stupidly, "restrooms". Where neither bathing or resting is done.
