  5. It takes about five years to become proficient in the language of the country you've moved to. Spanish being one of the easiest to learn if you're a native English speaker. However, many people moving to the UK from the Third World, can't even be bothered to learn English as a courtesy. Although, why would they when they the taxpayer is providing money for interpreters and written material in their native language?

  13.  @beepbeepimmadragon8758  Nonsense. Russia might be huge geographically, but that's the only large thing about it. The wealth is concentrated in the the hands of a few oligarchs. Most people live in poverty, especially in the countryside. The levels of corruption is also very high. Russia would have been nothing but a huge drain on the EU, rather than a useful addition to it.
