  1. "The Soviet Superplane That Rattled America". Yeah, right! Clickbait title. The Soviet "ekranoplan", was a threat to nobody, except probably its crew. Only one was capable of reaching an ocean, being stationed in the Black Sea. The earlier versions all operated on the land-locked Caspian Sea, a huge lake in the centre of Asia. Where they were a threat to nobody, especially the USA.
