@HaleyChain-vw8rr You're pretty dumb. I was referring to most of the important technological inventions which Britain was responsible for. Those that are responsible for the Modern World we live in. You could also include the free market, and global trade in that, which has lifted many out of poverty. Britain can't put the genie back in the bottle, and uninvent what she created. She's also not responsible what others do in the World.

@HaleyChain-vw8rr The zero is overrated anyway. Modern humans managed perfectly fine for 98% of their 100,000 year existence without it. Is the numerical notation for nothing, the best you've got?

@HaleyChain-vw8rr "your words not mine, " What words. There's a lot of them. Somebody was bound to stumble on the zero, at some point. In fact, it invented in two places at roughly the same time. You down need it to survive, as already said, it never held the Romans back, not using it. You really should have not gone down the zero route, if you didn't want something so easily debunkable.

@crabby7668 Modern humans have existed for about 100,000 years. For the first 98,000 years they managed perfectly well without the zero. It's only in the couple of centuries, that computers have been of importance.
