  17. The problem is, most of the fighting age males of the RoP crossing the channel, are not even literate in their own languages. So their chances of getting a place in a UK university, are slim to none. Also, where would they get the money from to fund full-time study on a degree course, anyway?

Britain created so much wealth for herself and the countries she traded with. That she didn't need to loot anything. Oh, and if you're concerned about a gem, that was given as a gift from a Indian private individual to a British individual. Then you've got your priorities wrong. And, if the British had to take the term to loot, because they had no word for such a thing. Then India had been looting from others long before Britain did.

If you want to use your real name here, then that's your prerogative. Many choose otherwise. As for "snidy", (the correct spelling, by the way is "snide") comments, as you call them. Would you be happier if was praising yet another migrant scam, as highlighted in this video. If you want to, that's fine by me. However, don't expect me top follow suit.

Although, probably 90% of the users of this site, have no uploads or followers. So there's nothing unusual about that. As for my stance on the matters in question, I think my position is clear. Maybe, I'm naïve about what is or isn't going on in the background, and whom might be behind it. Like other's, I'm careful about the words I use. It shouldn't have to be this way, but sadly it is.

  51.  @petergreen2552  He would probably have realized that it was better not to mount D-Day at all. Rather than go to all that effort, and then turn back after going only 40 m! However, if he had been PM in 1939, he wouldn't have gone to war with Germany in the first place. Although, that was probably not the best choice of action to take.

Maybe the Germans, especially under A H, wouldn't have been so "nice", as the British were. Also, it would have given Germany to resources it didn't have. So if the Austrian, wanted to call off any peace treaty with the UK, as he did with the USSR. Then the UK would definitely have been phuqed.

  63.  @Mark_Williams300  Oh. OK. Because there was no such thing as "British Indochina". Before independence, Burma was considered a province of British India, also known as the British Raj. There was however, a region called " French Indochina", which became Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia.
