Ending the slave trade cost the UK the modern equivalent of £1 trillion. Barbados can even pay in instalments.

@carolynellis387 These are dysfunctional nations and populations that always have the begging bowl out. Even if you taught them how to fish, they'd quickly sell for a few quid, the rod and tackle you gave them.

@carolynellis387 The traffic light theft is on the serepentza channel. He grew up in SA and then moved to China. He had a pretty good upbringing. Well, except for the time when the locals were going to murder his dad, and take over the business he built. There was grinding poverty in parts of Britain in the twentieth century, but nobody resorted to stealing the street lights, or digging up the road, to rob the copper for scrap. Even they could realise that cr@pping on your own doorstop, wasn't the best for the people living around you. In China, he enjoyed it at first, but then got tired of the ruling party, specifically it's treatment of foreigners. And who says there's only discrimination in the West. Which of course is complete BS. The real discrimination lies elsewhere.

@carolynellis387 Where did you grow up? The term I use is Third World, which describes well their separation from the First World. Somebody said that they remember a British TV programme, which followed some charity installing a well and pump to provide clean water for a village. When they did a follow-up programme, that found that the pump had been stolen, and sold for scrap. The same is happening in South Africa, where traffic and street lights are cut down and carted off in broad daylight. This is so the copper cables can be sold for scrap. They also dig up underground electrical cables for the same reason. Who cares if it causes gridlock, and people without power for days. All this whilst the current president of SA is worth £500 million. The problem with these people is immediate gratification, with no consideration of tomorrow, and also endemic corruption. How much aid or reparations would actually reach the average person, if it were made. The answer is zero.

@septembersurprise5178 Why doesn't the UK declare bankruptcy, and anybody wanting some dough, can just phuq off.

@johnkilvington7527 How about they make their own way, like everybody else has to? If you gave a handout to anyone whose ancestors had some bad sh!t done to them. Everyone would be bankrupt. Each person is responsible for the wealth they create. Why don't those who feel aggrieved, stop whinging, and get on with building a better society for them, and those around them?

@harry.flashman He has some good videos on his channel. He knows precisely what's going on in SA and China. If you haven't already, you should watch his videos about him growing up in SA. They are very enlightening.

Jamaica. The country with the World's highest homicide rate. It looks like like they fix their own problems, before whinging about others.

They complain about being taken from Africa. Why not offer them a one-way ticket back?
