Comments by "sandgrownun66" (@sandgrownun66) on "What on earth has happened to Britain’s police? The problem is not limited to West Yorkshire." video.
It's one way they try and overcome their obvious inferiority complex.

@skathwoelya2935 Unfortunately, old people tend to be invisible in today's society.
10
@JANGLEPOP1 Since when has such a minute group in society, got so much police support.
9
@RaymondWilliams-uu1ns Aren't police meant to tolerate robust language as part of their job? If not, the courts would be fuller than they are now.
8
@Marvin-dg8vj Or say somebody is wearing an offensive T-shirt.
8
@VoteScientist Exactly, as I pointed out in other threads on this video. The police should be able to cope with hurty words. It's to be expected, when dealing with some members of the public in certain situations.
8
Maybe, tell them that you've just damaged somebody with a "protected characteristic". They'll soon be around.
7
What's a Lesbian these days anyway?
7
Burglaries? That's too much like hard work. The insurance will payout anyway, right?
6
@songsmith31a Provision was always there for those who are lied about or defamed. It's called a civil lawsuit. That was how you could get redress, and it's still so in the US, because free speech is enshrined as a right in a written constitution. The criminal hate speech laws in the UK are an abomination to traditional rights in a Common law jurisdiction, and have no place within it.
5
Aren't the police meant to ignore inappropriate language, as part of their job? Wasting their time on one epithet is a ridiculous waste of taxpayers money.
5
@RaymondWilliams-uu1ns There was a sad selection of "NeoLesbians" or Maybe, "PseudoLesbians", as I'll call them. Aka straight men, on 0dins Men.
4
@Truthman1-o3u OK. Brexit was betrayed.
4
Are they both PCSO's, aka "Plastic Police" in day-glo costume.
3
@lucifermorningstar4606 Well at least with them, nobody's going to get ruffed up. Unless their male backup gets involved that is.
3
@lucifermorningstar4606 There was a video in the US, of two female cops trying to arrest a male. The way he ran rings around them, would have made Usain Bolt proud. It was like an episode from the Keystone Cops, or a Police Academy film.
3
It's not about enforcing law anymore. It's about serving political masters.
3
@skathwoelya2935 Do you mean same way as you're no longer allowed to use the term "Coloured People", and instead must say "People of Colour"? OK, there is a slight difference in nuance, but they mean the same thing. What about other languages, which use different systems of grammar?
3
@truckerfromreno Labour will probably get in anyway. However, a vote against the major parties, is the best you can do.
3
@Merlin3189 US law doesn't apply in the UK. In fact, the Americans were the ones who appropriated it. Unless, it's about to become the fifty-first state. Which would probably be a good idea, if Britain could adopt the US Constitution.
3
@Tourist1967 The Americans still can't say Lieutenant correctly though.
3
@Truthman1-o3u They can't help it. Americans can't spell long words.
2
Right statement. Wrong video.
2
@uhtred7860 Lucky that those babes didn't have guns. Otherwise, there could have been tribal genocide at that pub.
2
@simmorg290 Or their free BigMac and Latte, which is sort of a low-level protection racket for the local burger joint. The local bobby died years ago, and you're lucky to see plod at all. Even if there's been a crime. Remember, when seconds count, help is only minutes away.
2
@vanpallandt5799 Maybe, because they have a greater proclivity to commit crime. Unless they're all innocent, like prisoners usually pretend to be.
2
@bigbasil1908 For Thought Criminals, aka regular people.
2
@carolebarker2195 Except, that they never do kick off. The general population are the ubiquitous frog in a pot being slowly boiled. If anything it's the interlopers who have the fight in them. In contrast, the native Britons, has grown soft, on the backs of the sacrifices made by their ancestors.
2
@Truthman1-o3u Voting is the one thing a democracy has to effect peaceful change. Even if it seems largely ineffective. Although, just look at the Brexit vote, which the UK government grudgingly had to honour. If you don't vote. You're effectively throwing away what little power you do have. At least give your vote, to none of the big parties.
2
@Tourist1967 Or not even "sargent". Although Americans might want to spell it that way.
2
@Tourist1967 Maybe, but was it still worth the effort, when there are thousands of words pronounced differently than they are spelt. The amount of homophones and homonyms is staggering to. If you want perfect English. You might as well learn a language like Esperanto. Although, we know how little traction that has gained.
2
@Truthman1-o3u The English language will never be perfect. So why Americans want to tamper with it. What about all the other words, they decided not to bother with. There are plenty of inconsistencies in the way words are spelt. And yes, "spelt" is the correct word.
1
@uhtred7860 I thought that NZ was a peaceful haven, away from all the bad influences of the outside World. Nah, on second thoughts you're just as phuqed, as the rest of the developed nations on the planet.
1
@vanpallandt5799 Yes, we know.
1
@vanpallandt5799 No, it might just be their drug of choice.
1
The judiciary have been captured in the UK. It's a disgrace.
1
@truckerfromreno Is that a US case?
1
@Truthman1-o3u Which is complete waste of time. There must be some other candidate on the ballot. Rather than the usual suspects.
1
@carolebarker2195 Maybe, it's time to admit that the UK, as it was for centuries is finished. The new generations are being brainwashed to accept this new multicultural hellhole. So once the older generation is no more. Nothing will matter anyway.
1
You should have tried to stand bolt upright, or slightly on tip toe.
1
@oliverpearson1577 Even a primordial one. Just keep a lookout for one. Although, you might miss them.
1
@Tourist1967 The English language will never be perfect. No language is. So why do the Americans have this habit of altering the way some words are spelt and pronounced. Where other words are left alone. It's a waste of effort, and makes no sense.
